This stay was perfect for us. The room was nice and clean with good air conditioning and a beautiful view. Mama Beach Residence took care of any and all needs that we communicated and then some. They have boat tours and kayak rentals available, snorkeling and whatever else you might be interested in. You could also get them from any of the vendors in town, but they have them here also for a competitive rate, and they don't push any of it. It's far enough away from the central pier to give you peace and quiet in the evenings, and close enough for anything you might want like access to all the restaurants or shops (about a 10 min stroll down the beach). Addy, at reception, was exceptionally helpful in making sure we were all set to go for any topics. Great English and even found and was vigilant about returning a lost item that we forgot in the room in perfect condition. I would highly recommend this location and would stay here again if returning to Phi Phi.

This resort was beautiful, as soon as you walk in you feel like you’re in paradise. The check-in process was easy and quick and they took our bags from the pier to our rooms while we swam in the pool! The swim up bar was a nice touch and great fun. The location is perfect with a 7/11 right across the entrance for any late night snacks/drinks. Close enough to walk to the beach and not feel like it’s a huge walk. The rooms were very clean and bathroom was perfect, bed nice and soft with extra pillows and blankets. The A/C was good and the balcony had a drying rack for our swimsuits and stuff. Perfect, perfect, perfect !

There's a bit of a walk from the reception to the room, but it grew on us very fast, until we came to love it. If we would ever come back to Phi Phi, we would book this same hotel and this same room, as it was a nature retreat that was quiet and healing. The room has everything you would need, including a minibar. There are secluded beaches everywhere and more popular spots, like Long Beach, which I really recommend. It is far away from the hustle and bustle of touristy downtown, precisely what we wanted. At night, you can hear the sounds of the sea and all of the nature surrounding you. The hammock on the balcony is perfect for lazy summer days or nights, away from all the noise. Perfection!
