We couldn’t have asked for a better resort to enjoy the beauty of Borneo. The property grounds are lovely and well maintained. The food provided is delicious and plentiful. The staff always greet guests with a smile and are eager to assist them with their activities for the day. The ocean surrounding the resort is absolutely beautiful. They also have a well-maintained jungle pathway that is a must to hike and explore. This is definitely a resort we will return to again.

Surrounded by jungle. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Nothing was a problem. They accommodated us when our flight was cancelled. The pool and food was fabulous. I would definately stay again.

Daniel went out of his way to make us comfortable, even took us to restaurants on the main land to show us around. wow. amazing guy. always smiling

Timba Garden FREE TOWN AND JETTY TRANSPORT tem piscina ao ar livre, jardim, lounge compartilhado e restaurante em Semporna. Great little spot in a jungle neighborhood. Super friendly owners. We were hungry when we arrived and they were making chicken curry for their lunch, and added us to the preparations. Very unique location. I slept really well then off the next day for diving.

We just checked out from Sutera @ Mantanani, and honestly, it's a true hidden gem. This resort offers exceptional value, a serene atmosphere, and absolutely fantastic experiences that completely exceeded our expectations. What I loved most were the complimentary boat snorkeling excursions. They took us to stunning, untouched coral reefs bursting with vibrant marine life, providing a simply breathtaking underwater spectacle. Our Deluxe Twin room was incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The resort itself boasts a great variety of activities, from engaging beach sports to exciting diving opportunities at their recreation center, ensuring there’s always something enjoyable to do. The uncrowded atmosphere and the genuinely friendly staff created a wonderfully relaxed vibe, a refreshing change from the hustle and commercialism of more popular destinations. While the sea conditions on the way to the island can be a little uneven, the unparalleled beauty and peaceful experience once you arrive on Mantanani is unequivocally worth it. This truly is Sabah’s best-kept secret for an authentic island escape.
