Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaSmall shower leaks water because the seals on the doors can’t hold it in.
The room was cute and affordable, conveniently located near the metro and typical tourist locations but far enough away that it was quiet.

RomaniaThe bathroom, for instance, felt quite cramped, which took away from the overall comfort of the stay. Additionally, the wardrobe's design was impractical for me—it was too high and narrow, making it difficult to use efficiently. A minor yet notable inconvenience was the absence of glasses and a wine opener, essentials that I believe should be readily available in such accommodations.
What stood out for me was the cleanliness of the accommodation. Everything was well arranged, and the environment was quiet, allowing for a very restful experience. The bed deserves a special mention; it was not only comfortable but also generously sized, which significantly enhanced the quality of my sleep.

GermanyThe water tap in the restroom was a bit hard to open and close; the bed was very comfortable but the washable blankents were not covering the re-used blankets completely (they could move) and it didnt feel good.
I liked the small lobby in each floor, the room's bathroom, the overall cleanness of the room, the friendly and flexible staff, the old nice building and the old lifts.

CanadaHotel is accurately depicted in the photos, it is very clean, well maintained and run. Room was great, nice bathroom, comfortable bed, and linen. Convinent to have a mini fridge and access to a kettle in the shared area. Great location, Trevi Fountain is close, we walked to Coliseum, Vatican, Spanish steps, Borghese Gallery.

United KingdomInstead of a proper bed there was just a sofa bed with soft foam mattress, not ideal. The communal coffee area was right next to our room so was woken at 6am by noisy coffee machine.
Nice decor in the room, like backing scenery from the opera. Fridge in room useful, small cooking area though no pans/utensils. Good location, handy for Roma Termini and walkable to the forum.

United States of AmericaThe shower was confusing with a million knobs. It was supposed to be an emotional spa, and we couldn't get it to work. The emotion it conjures up is laughter. We couldn't believe an emotional shower is a real thing, plus we couldn't turn it on. However, it's a comfortable and very clean place and the staff is very friendly. Booking describes this place as having a spa, which is not true. Breakfast was good and place is beautiful.

CanadaThe only issue I had was the air conditioner. When you set the temperature, it didn't really matter because it just kept getting colder and colder. The thermostat was not working very well and didn't recognize when it got cold enough. We asked the staff to check it out and they did, I'm not sure if they were able to fix it because it continued the same. It also had a loud whistling sound. We didn't have time to follow up with the staff with our busy schedule.
The staff were wonderful. It was great a location, clean and the bathroom was spa grade. Everything was within walking distance for us including the train station and all the major landmarks we wanted to see. If you want to get breakfast, you can pay for it at the hotel and they will give you a voucher which will work for the cafe next door. The cafe had an American and Italian menu.

Great location for tourist sites with Republica subway (train to Ottaviano station to see Vatican) and Roma Terminal less than 10 minutes walk. Most other tourist sites within a 20 minute walk. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Elia who met us at reception was polite and friendly, and gave us a great city map where he highlighted all of the tourist sites, shopping areas and restaurant locations. Great restaurants and bars near the hotel, and also some nice rooftop bars to watch the sunset. Breakfast Italian style with coffee and cornetto (pastry) very cheap !! Carrefour express close by for general groceries. Funky old cage lift to get to the 3rd floor - make sure it stops before opening the doors.
