Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandUnfortunately due to the TV's being updated, we had no remote and thus no access to the TV. Some elements of the breakfast were disappointing, for example stale Cereal.
From the moment we were picked up from the airport via the hotels free shuttle, we were greeted with nothing but positivity and friendliness. Mr Chales was hugely accommodating in ensuring that our stay got off to the best possible start and throughout. All other staff were also very accomodating and friendly, an example is where they allowed us to stay after our checkout, with full use of the pool and gym. Pool and gym were very clean, and well equipped, as were the room that we stayed in. Definitely try the banana bread at breakfast.

United Arab EmiratesCant think of any.
This is an excellent 4-star hotel well worthy of the Boutique title. It was welcoming, comfortable, well-appointed and the staff very helpful. The airport pickup and drop service was very welcome and made a huge difference. I will definitely stay there if I visit Siem Reap again and will recommend it to my friends.

United KingdomNothing. It was excellent
An absolutely outstanding hotel! The most attentive service I have ever experienced in the world. The whole area is still recovering from lack of tourists due to covid 19 pandemic. The reception at this hotel, support in booking tours and continuous care for our welfare was incredible. To be honest, I almost started to feel awkward as they treated us like King and Queen.

New ZealandGreat location in the heart of Siem Reap, easy walk to lots of places or of course take a tuktuk. The staff were very nice indeed - super helpful and polite. We only met really lovely people in Cambodia throughout our trip. Despite being in the city, it was nice and quiet in the evening. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for a very quick trip to see Angkor and it was fantastic. The staff were helpful from start to finish. Our room was lovely, clean, comfy and quiet! Location suited us - it's easy peasy to get around Siem Reap.

IndonesiaNone. Though it can be a little noisy due to being close to busy location. However the rooms have double glazing sliding windows and blackout curtain so it didn't bother us too much, we could sleep well. I was amazed this kind of details were well thought of. Kudos!
Nicely designed boutique hotel with large swimming pool! Compact but with 5* complete facilities. Great location with so many option of amenities and restaurants around it, all walking distance. A lovely cafe serving Illy coffee onsite and also a gym and spa. Very spacious rooms, cool AC, nice little balcony and extra long desk to catch up with work on. No mosquitos! The friendliness of staff is what truly made the place! We had a comfortable stay and really would stay longer if we could. Holidays always seems too short when staying in a place like this.

SingaporeSee above.
Likes: (1) Excellent location - close to amenities yet nestled in a quite, shady locale. (2) Chic & modern contemporary hotel design. (3) Room and common areas were generally well maintained and clean but wear and tear is showing in some places. Dislikes: (1) Bed was flimsy and provided poor support. (2) This is a phenomenon common in Cambodian hotels and apartment building, not just Somadevi Residence: due to cost considerations, the air-conditioning in lobby is usually not switched on despite the sweltering weather. (3) During breakfast in "The Champagne" restaurant, the egg station was inconveniently located in an outdoor area behind a sliding glass door.

United Kingdomfew dead flies and ants in room but wouldn’t stop me from coming back here as room was all in all clean. lack of hooks (seems to be everywhere in Vietnam & Cambodia though) but so much space in the room that I don’t know why they don’t add more hooks! fridge and air on incredibly noisy so bring ear plugs
staff are incredibly friendly and relatively clean (lots of ants in room in one corner but appreciate that’s the climate) pool was nice to relax in and gets the sun until around 5pm (January) close to other areas too! and quiet too!

FranceIt’s rated as a 5 star.,It isn’t. Do not be fooled. The pillows are rock hard. They charge you $40 for early check in despite being almost empty. I went to book a final night but the price shot up. I checked out and went to the 4 star Aviary around the corner. That REALLY is 5 star. Boutique. Chic. Attention to detail. Stay there instead.
The staff are very pleasant. The pool is large. The rooms are large.

United KingdomThe bed was extremely hard and difficult to sleep on. There was a very terrible smell coming through the ac unit. I couldnt identify where the smell was originating from but it was worse when the AC unit was running. This made sleeping difficult as i has to chose eiher to sleep in great heat or sleep with an awful smell. I would rate this hotel higher if these issues were fixed
Fanatastic location, short walk from Pub street & Night market. Supermarket also in very close proximity. I stayed specifically to visit Angkor Wat so cannot comment on the amenities the hotel has to offer. I want to give a special thanks to Vich Chomroeun the supervisor who help me organise my visit to Angkor Wat for sunset & Sunrise plus full day of visiting a curated list of temples i wanted to see. He did this seemlessly and made my trip 1 of a kind!!!

United Arab EmiratesPillows are extremely hard, it’s like sleeping on stones. Cafeteria food was really bad. Breakfast even tho buffet I felt was poor when it comes to continental food, not many veggies, and on the second day flies were all over the food. Laundry was also confusing, even tho it says that if you give your laundry before 11 am you will get it the same day when I requested it they said they need to check if it is possible to get it the same day. And lastly I had 2 lizards in my room! I kept the main door and balcony closed all the time but somehow 2 lizards made a way inside. And needles to say I am petrified of reptiles so even tho the staff removed them I was terrified to sleep thinking new lizards will make their way in.
Location is great, less than 10 min from the pub street. Room was super specious.
