Staff couldn't speak any English, but were incredibly helpful using translation apps. There are figurines all over the main and annex building, including 6 Perfect Grade Gundams. There is a restaurant in the property selling basashi, but if you want to travel on a shoestring budget there is a convenience right beside the property as well.

The location and the view from the room is wonderful. We booked a room with dinner and breakfast and we enjoyed the food provided by the hotel. There is also an Onsen where you can bath in water with 40-41 degree Celsius. There are plenty of parking space in front of the hotel.

Traditional Japanese Ryokan that offers a super clean room and facilities. You can have a bath in the Onsen (there are 4 baths) both in the morning and evening. The staff was also nice. It was a great experience! Ideal if you're traveling by car.

Beautiful little Ryokan. Phenomenal service and food. Only 5 rooms and you pretty much don't see anyone else during your stay. In-room onsens were fabulous as well and the family suite we took was massive.

Loved how large and comfortable the rooms are and after days of tatami mats and futons, the Western style rooms here are a good change. The dinner buffet has a good spread and the food was good! Plenty of choice for all. Onsen was nice too.

Our room was really comfortable, with a 3Tatami corner and a great view of Aso. They have a lot of Spa options including private onsen and pool which we enjoyed a lot. They had a collection of Yukata where you could coose to your liking. Staff was friendly and helpful and also able to help in English.

The overall experience of staying in a ryokan with onsen, dinner and breakfast included and clothed on Japanese yukata give us taste of what it was like in a Japanese home. Upon our arrival, we were welcome with Japanese tea and dessert. It certainly sets the tone of our stay and warms our heart.
