A fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags are included in each room. All rooms come with an en suite bathroom with a toilet and shower, while some rooms have a bathtub. The staff are so kind and warm, we really feel at home. The breakfast is so delicious, the room is so clean. We really love the Japanese style room. We will for sure live here again if we go to Tokyo!

The staff was welcoming and this place made our stay special as very traditional and well located in Asakusa!

It was located in a nice corner of Asakusa. A bit of a walk and definitely cold during winter. But nice walk nonetheless. Host was superb and so friendly.

Her review is: A perfect blend of traditional furnishings (tatami rooms with futons) and modern amenities (showers, fridge, washer, dryer). Whatever extra needs you have, the proprietor, Tatsuo-san, will make it happen. The man never sleeps and makes you feel 100% taken care of. His wife is seldom there, but her hand is felt throughout the house and in the way the place is run. Just follow the (few, reasonable) house rules, and you will have your own perfect quiet island

Every room at this ryokan is air conditioned and is fitted with a flat-screen TV. Some rooms have a seating area for your convenience. Every room is fitted with a private bathroom fitted with a bath. For your comfort, you will find bathrobes and slippers. Hanakohro offered a peaceful and comfortable retreat where time and expenses were never a concern. Everything was taken care of, allowing us to fully unwind and enjoy the experience, which included exploring the unique lounges, garden and buildings on the grounds. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding, making us feel at home.

At the ryokan, every unit is fitted with a tatami and a flat-screen TV. There is a private bathroom with bidet in some units, along with slippers, a hair dryer and free toiletries. The units are equipped with heating facilities. Such a warm welcome It was a very short stay for me but I was touched how beautifully everything is organized. The room is minimalistic but features everything that you need, and the hearty people are always there to help you out with any inquiry. Liked the food map of the area as well.
