The room was huge and comfortable. Walking in the hotel and having breakfast wearing the provided yukata was a soothing experience. The staff was helpful and available.

Each room includes a fridge, private toilet, and guests bathe at the hot-spring baths. Japanese-style futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor is provided. Yukata robes are offered for guests. Everything! From the hospitality to the meals to the onsen. They made me feel like at home :)

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. It features traditional Japanese cuisine served in the dining area, suites with in-room hot springs and a garden. This was an exceptional stay. While the onsen doesn't offer a direct view of mount Fuji, we could clearly see it on our drive over thanks to clear skies. When we entered the premises, the staff was attentive immediately. From taking our luggage to making sure we were set up in our room. The room was SPACIOUS, with a lounge area and bedroom with screens to close off sections. The highlight was having our own outdoor bath to enjoy during cold winter nights. Perhaps the most breathtaking aspect of our stay were the meals. We were blown away by our dinner. It was the best thing we ate during out entire trip in Japan (we were in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto prior). We enjoyed a sumptuous parade of dishes that really showed off the local ingredients. We didn't think it could get better, but breakfast the next day was equally, if not more, delicious. While expensive, we enjoyed a serene getaway with our private outdoor bath and excellent meals. Would love to return.

八海 木花館 features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Oshino, 10 km from Fuji-Q Highland. There is a private entrance at the ryokan for the convenience of those who stay. Every room comes with a balcony with garden views. The location and the view of Mt Fuji at the property was just spectacular. The food and service was impeccable. Nina Lin was sharing with us all the great spots to take photos of Mt Fuji and we really enjoyed our conversations with her. The other older lady was very helpful and hospitable as well and we can't praise them enough for making our stay so memorable!

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. Amazing Japanese-style hotel, just 5 minutes walk from Lake Yamanakako. Great for catching the sunrise. Staff were super friendly and even drove us to and from the nearby onsen. Breakfast and dinner were exceptional. Highly recommended!

The host was very kind. He explained to us about the place and then served us tea and cookies in the room. A traditional Japanese hospitality experience exactly as we wanted. Excellent location near 2 restaurants that we really enjoyed.

There were so many great aspects about the property including the spacious and modern lobby, bathhouses, and views of Mt. Fuji, but by far the most exceptional and memorable part of the stay was the STAFF! Every staff member we encountered was so kind and helpful — they made a significant effort to speak English and make the international travelers comfortable.

At the ryokan, each unit has a tatami. Some accommodation includes a terrace with garden views, a fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom with bidet. The units are equipped with heating facilities. Lovely place, very quiet in an amazing environment in the mountains. Joining the prayers in the temple in the morning was an exiting experience . The yoga lessons were very good and so the food.

Located just a minute's walk from Kawaguchiko Lake, Kawaguchiko Lakeside Hotel offers accommodation in Fujikawaguchiko, near Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge. Free WiFi is available throughout the entire property. The hotel is a minutes' walk away from the shores of Kawaguchiko and Kawaguchiko Herbkan. This place is absolutely lovely, Masa-san (owner) absolutely goes out of his way to help in any way he possibly can. Fantastic view of Mount Fuji from our well equipped room and just a wonderful experience, onsen is lovely and relaxing. Entire area is so beautiful. Trip finished with us checking out early in the morning as we anticipated having to walk up to the station (about 20 minutes from the hotel) around 8am. Despite Masa-san being in the middle of providing breakfast for other guests he insisted on driving us up so we'd time for a coffee. Oh, and getting up early to watch the sun rising on Mount Fuji will remain with me for the rest of my life.

Sutch an smazing place and the hospitality of the family was wonderful. Would love to come back.
