I believe all together (location, staff, room, services) are above average and all together make a winning cocktail. The room was amazing with all comforts, Jacuzzi was lovely, they have also an agreement with one of best restaurant with free sun-beds, even whether you don’t consume (by the way I do recommend you do as it is worthy). Katia, Maria, Niko, Chris and the full staff make you feel welcome since minute 1 with a big smile. Swimming pool is a nice add-on whether you don’t fall in love with Perivolos’ beach.

A Greek Island Dream

Imagine a typical Greek island with whitewashed houses, blue-domed churches and sloping cliffs, and the chances are that you’re thinking of Santorini. Protectively curving around 4 other islands in its archipelago, this volcanic island has fertile ground bringing forth lovely rosé wine and some of the sweetest cherry tomatoes you’ll ever taste.

High on a caldera shelving into the sea, the capital Fira overlooks the cruise liners plying the turquoise Aegean waters below. North is Imerovigli, home to several 5-star Santorini hotels with fantastic views.

Also providing amazing views is the accommodation in Oia across the bay. Cascading down the slopes, the sea of white here is only dispersed by vibrant pink flowers, blue domes and the brown of ancient windmills, all becoming black silhouettes as the sun sets.

Santorini Airport is on the other side of the island and 2 resorts south of it – Kamari and Perissa – have the best, black sand beaches. However, the most visually impressive is Red Beach at Akrotiri where the stunning red colour of the caldera and sand makes the trek down the rockface well worth it. Just time it right to avoid high tide! Also near Akrotiri are excavations of a Minoan era settlement.

The hotel is positioned in one of the best location points of Oia. It has an amazing view on the Caldera and each suite has its own view and terrace. My husband and I have spent a whole week, to celebrate my birthday: in the first 5 days we have been given a suite called "Athena" (all suites have been named after ancient greek gods or goddes) which had an amazing balcony and a hot tub. The view was unbelievable. The last 3 days we have been upgraded to a pool villa called "the white house" which was absolutely stunning, with a big terrace with a table and an hammock overlooking the caldera and a private pool with warm water. As the room, the terrace and the pool were so beautiful, we basically spent the last two days there! The restaurant of Andronis is positioned on the top of a rock which provides a unique location to have breakfast or dine with a full view of the caldera. The breakfast menu is very rich and provides a big variety of choices, and is well served both at the table in the restaurant terrace or, as we have tried some times, in your suite outdoor table. As well the hotel pool is nice and relaxing with enough space to host all the residents. The entire Andronis staff, nobody excluded, from reception to restaurant, to bar, to houskeeping, has been professional, kind, always available: the system of making any request via whatsapp simplified a lot all the organization of our stay, suggesting us the different options of possible activities, making bookings, suggesting the best restaurants where to dine and managing all the reservations taking care we always had the best table! The morning of my birthday I have also got a nice (and super-good) birthday cake!!! I will keep Santorini, Oia and the Andronis as one of the best memories of my life.

The location of the hotel with a view of the Caldera is extremely excellent. Picturesque and amazing views from the rooms! Responsive, polite, attentive excellent staff, both at the reception, and in the restaurant and throughout the hotel. They meet with a smile and offer cool drinks to quench their thirst. They help in solving any issues. The rooms are spacious, bright and clean. The bathrooms are clean and have very nice and high-quality hygiene and body care products! Breakfasts are very tasty and filling! Thank the chef! Also, all hotel guests receive a compliment from the hotel (delicious drinks). There is an opportunity to order a dinner, and even a romantic one, in the room or on the terrace of the new restaurant with beautiful views of the sea, the island itself and the volcano, watching the incredible colors of the sunset! Thank you to the hotel administration and staff for their professionalism and comfort, courtesy and good attitude!

From the moment we arrived me and my partner loved the vibe and atmosphere there. Our room wasn't ready so they let us use the gym and pool area while we waited. After some time our room wasn't ready and they quickly upgraded us to the God suite for the night which was amazing. The view from the resutraunt and food was amazing. The staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is a memorable on and I can't recommend this hotel enough. It is far away from all the populated areas and just relaxing.we also booked massages rhere and you definelty need to try this while your there.

The hotel was amazing, so as stuff there( super sweet people, helped with all our requests). They have good restaurant and great sunset view. Delicious breakfast

Location was great, not far to the waterfront and fabulous views restaurants. Easy access to buses, other transport. Enjoyed our time in Santorini. Had 5 nights.if you love dining, being seen, shopping resting by pool perfect. For us think after 3 to 4 nights would off been enough.Nice time off the year fabulous weather 25-29 degrees most days. Just enough atmosphere without to many tourists.

Oia is stunningly beautiful.

Oia is stunningly beautiful. The photos that you've seen don't really do it justice. I was glad to be staying at the northern end of the town, which I think is more authentic than the very southern end. And, being there in the evening, after the cruise ships depart, is very enjoyable.

Imerovigli was perfect for Santorini. It was a walk to Fira.

Imerovigli was perfect for Santorini. It was a walk to Fira. About 45 minutes from our resort. It was a nice walk. We loved staying here - Fira is very crowded and seemed a little more city like. Oia is the main part with the blue domes that everyone runs to for pictures. We went when there was just 1 cruise ship and it was low season. It was not crowded but can't imagine in the peak with many cruise ships and tons of crowds. Imerovigli was perfect for a stay - easy to walk or take a taxi to Fira or Oia and be away from the crowds. Best views and sunsets on the island.

Second time to visit Kamari beach , lovely area of Santorini...

Second time to visit Kamari beach , lovely area of Santorini to visit much quieter than other areas of the island and not too far to travel to the airport . Mid April was quieter than I expected would visit in May at the earliest next time when most restaurants would be open for the season .Excellent public transport from Kamari to other sights on Santorini.

Firostefani is well situated with many excellent restaurants and shops close by. Its only a 10-15 min walk to Fira which is convenient for transport to other areas, wiith plenty of restaurants, and shopping.

A village with bakery, gyros place, souvenir shop & good sized mini market. Walkable to Fura though a noisy main road. Buses good too but more value for money the further you are going. Taxis quite expensive so we walked a lot.

I liked Akrotiri because it’s away from the busyness of the main cities like Fira or Oia. It’s better to have a car when choosing that area because it’s so easy to move around can easily access bakery, petrol station, supermarket and of course there is never a shortage of amazing views on the island.

Location: Pyrgos is a hidden gem compared to the bustle of Fira and Oia – much quieter and more authentic, yet with equally stunning views across the island. The village itself is charming, with picturesque alleyways, excellent restaurants, and a beautiful castle crowning the hilltop. Getting around is easy too, with straightforward bus connections to the rest of Santorini. Highly recommended if you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere without missing out on anything. Favourite spots: The castle and the winding alleyways of Pyrgos itself are absolutely worth exploring. For sunset views over the caldera, Alchemia is a must – stunning location, great food, and we went back twice. Kantouni is a lovely traditional taverna, and Kavatza is a charming family-run spot serving excellent souvlaki in pita – we ended up there three times! For a relaxed drink in the village square, Johnnie CF is perfect. Getting around: The village is served by the Fira–Perissa bus line, stopping right at the village square. There's no fixed timetable so you need to be a bit flexible, but it runs regularly and at €2.20 to Fira it's great value. We never had to wait too long. Activities we'd recommend: Don't miss a wine tasting at Santo Wines – a fantastic experience with breathtaking views over the caldera.

the location is not what it seams, it is just between the...

the location is not what it seams, it is just between the main road and other construction sites or empty fields, with no nice view. Overrated prices on booking.com compared with the reception prices or any other nice hotels even in Oia.
