An affordable (for Evora) place to stay. Basic rooms are small but met our needs - comfortable bed, good shower, AC. Parking in the basement garage was extra but nice, however it is for small cars only. It's a "budget" hotel, so earplugs are recommended.

The location of this perfect place is ideal. It is just away from the main streets but close to all the sites. I was not expecting such an historic villa. There are wonderfull pictures and furniture throughout and while not used much the bar and lounge are ideal for an after dinner port before retiring to your room.

Évora is a beacon of heritage in the heart of rural Portugal. Life is played out among narrow, cobbled streets and whitewashed buildings that provide welcome shade. Most buildings are decorated with blue or yellow trim, giving this laidback city a coherent feel.
Blue tiles adorn the incredible interior of the Misericórdia Church, and the Church of St John the Evangelist also features this typical Alentejo style. The most outlandish is the Church of St Francis where one chapel is created entirely from human bones and skulls.
The Gothic cathedral has a peaceful cloister and next door is Évora Museum with its collection of medieval, Islamic and Roman artefacts. In the large square in front sit remains of the Roman Temple, and Roman bath ruins lie under the town hall.
The Palace of the Dukes of Cadaval has a turret-like tower, similar to those in the city walls. One of Évora’s most impressive monuments – the 16th-century Silver Water Aqueduct – passes right through the walls and used to end in large Praça do Giraldo, the city centre’s main square. Some of its stone arches have been cleverly bricked in to create bars and restaurants.
Booking.com’s accommodation in Évora includes luxury hotels with pools, cheap hostels near the train station and guest houses by the university.

Ate at Cavalarica next to the Roman Temple. Amazing food and great little courtyard sitting under fruit trees.
A highlight was the Bone Chapel but also the tower and cloister of the Cathedral. Hidden gem: the Casas Pintadas, 16 century frescoes, and they were free!

We don’t mind basic, but this wasn’t clean, or safe, door frame coming off. Bed was probably once comfy but so old we tipped into it.
Breakfast terrible, coffee not hot, only green tea ( good for me but not my husband) rat poison box under table in dining room.
There were cobwebs everywhere.
The 2 guys running it were nice, polite etc, but they are up against it.
Massive renovation required

Evora is a lovely city full of history and unexpected corners. We used Evora as our "base-camp" to visit many other interesting places in the region, including the megaliths of Cromeleque des Almendres, Estremoz, Vilaviçosa and Elvas.

My husband and I really enjoyed our brief stay in Evora.
My husband and I really enjoyed our brief stay in Evora. The historic center is very walkable overall, so it is easy to see several things in a short time. We were impressed with the Cathedral and the Chapel of Bones, but what we enjoyed the most was the lovely Jardim Público de Évora (public park and gardens). It was the end of April and Springtime has been wet this year, so everything was green and the flowers were blooming. The temperature was perfect for our visit.
We ate dinner at D'Iberica and it was delicious! The waitstaff there were very nice and recommended a delicious wine for our meal. The menu was extensive and everything we saw come out of the kitchen looked wonderful.

Evora is a one-night stay town.
Evora is a one-night stay town. The Chaple of Bones was a great place to spend Halloween. Interesting history. A walk around the Public Park with the Peacocks was a fun experience. We ate at Dona Laura Restaurant which I would highly recommend to others. The Hotel was centrally located and we walked everywhere.
The one negative comment was that Evora was the first city I visited where beggars approached you aggressively holding small children.
This was the best hotel experience in Portugal. The location is excellent. The rooms are big and decorated in a beautiful way. It was so comfy and cozy I did not want to leave the room. Breakfast was really good. On my first day, I was alone in a hotel and in the morning they got my table ready in advance. That was so nice gesture. They are friendly and helpful. The hotel has lovely small library and terrace with nice views. Oh, I forgot to mention little coffee machine in a room with one of the most tasty coffee capsules ever.
It was a perfect stay. Victor is an excellent host, very friendly and helpful in any way. The breakfast is heavy from a buffet with really fresh orange-juice.
It is very quiet in the backyard and comfortable to relax at the swimming-pool.
We made a roadtrip through Portugal and this hotel was definitly the BEST.
The only thing was: it is a little bit tricky to find because on the outside there is only a very small sign.
Selina Evora was an amazing find. Located just outside the town walls it was a peaceful location. Having recently been refurbished everything was pristine & the room was a really good size with the most comfortable bed after 3 weeks travelling around Portugal. Staff were friendly & helpful. The kitchen area was a bonus too. Optional breakfast was delicious & plentiful.
Location ideal for Skydive Portugal.
The room was a basic twin room which was clean and tidy with a good ensuite.
The breakfast was OK ... what you'd expect for a hotel like this. The selection was a bit limited though ... especially for the hot items.
Nice large foyer / bar seating area.
The hotel has a fabulous salt-water pool, which sure was a relief on those hot days. Very friendly staff. Perfect location just outside of downtown Evora, making those trips to the surrounding white-washed, hilltop villages even easier. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Evora, and I'll be back.
Beautiful apartment in great location right inside Évora city walls and so easy to walk to everything. Lots space, very clean and well equipped. So nice to stay somewhere that seems “authentic” and not like a standard hotel you can find anywhere. Check in and out was super easy!
It appears the majority of the rooms in most of our hotels were street side allowing for significant vehicular noise. Not sure if booking buys cheaper rooms but all our rooms were booked far in advance so it's not like last minute bookings. Other than that it was a 8 out of 10.
Beautiful hotel and pool. 10 minute drive to the center of Evora. Very friendly and professional staff. The best breakfast we had in all of Portugal! The wine tasting was fun. Make sure you get a tour of the building and learn the history. I wish we had stayed longer.
This small boutique hotel was exactly as described. The owner, Victor, was very helpful. he had a space in his garage for our car which was lovely. Google Maps works well in Evora. Victor gave us advice on many of the small towns to visit.
Loved this beautiful boutique hotel in the center of Evora. The staff was exceptional and extremely friendly! Staff tirelessly helped us locate a taxi that would take us all the way to Sintra when train services were on strike!
Great house right near the main square. Evora was the last stop of a 2 week road trip in Portugal for our family (easy drive to airport the next morning) and this was the perfect way to end the trip
All of the other hotels we stayed at in Portugal included the breakfast within booking at no extra charges so we did not include the breakfast at an extra $20 euros x 2 people.
The owner of the place is lovely & nice.
The rooftop gives a nice view over Evora and the house is typical from Portugal which is nice to see.
Great location as well :)
Modern hotel with a number of amenities. Rooms are quite large. Short walk to all the major attractions within the old walls of Evora. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
