The property is excellent and the location is as just stunning. Another gem fact is their staff, special mention to Rob and the chef for his amazing hospitality and kind nature towards every guest. All customisations were attended and fulfilled. Everything was amazing! Would definitely love to stay again.

We loved the location, the stunning views, the quality appliances/facilities and the overall appearance of the apartment. The furnishings are stylish and it's just a few minutes walk from pubs, restaurants and walking routes around Lake Coniston as well as very close to the start of the Old Man of Coniston hiking path. The bedrooms were large, beds were comfy and the shower was lovely! The kitchen is spacious and well equipped, great for having a few friends over before we all ran the Coniston 14 race.

Exceptional hosts!! They could not do enough to help. Very knowledgeable as to where to visit & what to see in the local area. The property was in a very good state of repair, my room was cosy & had an edwardian cottage vibe overlooking idyllic scenery set in a peaceful location, surrounded by wonderful countryside & great walks. Ideal for walkers & nature lovers. & those seeking solace. Places to visit were with easy reach. The breakfast choice was excellent & I was truly spoilt & felt at home 10/10

Plenty to do and see in the area and a great restaurants and choice of cafes. I visited the Bluebird Cafe. Great quality of food & value for money. The staff were very helpful & welcoming. Coniston is a pretty village and a great attraction is the Bluebird boat in the Ruskin Museum. However, if you want to stay near a lake, Coniston isn't the right village. Only pub food in Coniston and they haven't heard of/no demand for salads.

Coniston is the perfect village to stay at for exploring this area of the lake district. There are some fantastic views and walks in all directions for varying levels of experience and fitness. The cottage is homely, fairly clean, it has most things you need, a lovely view of Coniston and the lake. The location was perfect for us, plenty of walks from the cottage and lovely views on the walk back along the elevated lane. Beautiful area of the lakes. We haven’t spent much time around Coniston before having normally visited Keswick. Coniston is a picturesque village, the lake makes for some amazing photos and the village’s is full of, and surrounded by, places to eat.AAnonymous

Although the evening meals were bar meals there was an area of tables reserved for residents, as the bar was very busy. Menu choice was standard fare. Breakfasts were brilliant. The staff were very always friendly and keen to assist. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. Various walks can be started from the doorstep. or you can drive to so many other little villages (20-30mins radius, Ambleside/Windermere/Grasmere/Keswick to name a few) and the options are endless Walking distance to Coniston Lake Facilities inside the flat are great. All other reviews you will read will mention the showerhead being great and it is true.
