The staff could not have been friendlier, at checkin and with questions throughout our stay, including recommending a good pizza restaurant nearby. I had three youngish grandchildren with me and the staff were really helpful at breakfast, bringing croissants and kid-sized portions. Location was excellent, right across the road from the beach and promenade. We were fortunate to be allocated a carpark on site, but there is parking just across the road too.

The staff were excellent and very friendly, especially when our dog suddenly wouldn't go up the stairs (never happened before) they then offered to carry all bags so my partner could carry our dog. Check in and out was smooth and very easy. A major bonus was it being dog friendly and only a £10 charge per night which i think is nothing. The room was amazing, bed was comfy, lots of storage and the view is to die for!!

When I arrived exhausted, the receptionist was outstandingly helpful and ensured I had all I needed and offered solutions to any small challenges I had. I cannot speak highly enough of the service I had from the moment I landed to the moment I left the premises.

The town is lovely. The people were friendly and helpful.
The town is lovely. The people were friendly and helpful. The beach is really nice, clean and atractive. There are a variety of shops, cafes and bars. There is a lovely indoor market with a good selection of stalls. The only thing we didn't like were the car parks. There are plenty of car parks but they are very expensive. It cost us a fortune to park up every day.

We visited Hesham and I would highly recommend this as a day out. The town is like many others and a bit tired and the great old Showrooms are no longer in use. The current best features are the great beaches and the Promenade. If you like fresh air and the sea you will love it here.

I was disappointed with Morecambe because it’s very rundown with lots of closed down businesses and rather shabby looking. It’s a shame because it could be a thriving seafront. The seafront itself is long and well kept just the shops and buildings are not very attractive.

The beaches are graded so that dog owners and children do not have to mix. There is a lovely sandy beach. Clearly the town has seen better days but so much effort has gone into providing such a lovely promenade and other amenities that a few more tourists would raise the profile of the seafront shops. There is a wealth of accommodation for all pockets in the town so it would be a shame not to take advantage of it.

We were only stopping over at Morecambe to facilitate a rental car return the following day.
It was a great place to stop for 12 hours. I don't know if we would have stopped longer by choice if we had the option but it seemed a great place for families with kids.
There is a nice walk along the beachfront and a statue of Eric Morecambe.
There are lots of pubs and restaurants to choose from as well.

The walk along the sea front was very interesting if you read the plaques and information boards. Don’t forget the stone jetty.
Take your picture through the picture frame looking across the bay or even with Eric Morecambe. There is even an artwork trail to follow including a cutout of the lakes which you can see across the bay
Plenty of cafes to call for a pit stop
Hotel space and Accommodation was of a very high standard throughout.
Cleanliness Standards were unquestionably high.
Staff (Helen in particular) demonstrated a soft approach, very cooperative, friendly and understanding.
Meals were very enjoyable, there was one occasion only , where an issue arose relating to time to take to deliver an order, when challenged the response was professional, timely and understanding which was appreciated.
No issues with pre-booked parking.
Great seafront location, lovely views, nice welcome, Trudi and Alan lovely hosts and great, friendly personal service. Fresh ‘cooked to order’ brekkie, and got parked at front door, hotel also with very modern and lovely tasteful decor! Spotlessly clean!!! Some nice ‘personal touch’ items in room too. Excellent value for money and defo happy to return when back visiting Morecambe!👏👏
Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was generous and delicious. The room design was exceptional and matched the beauty and design of the exterior of this iconic hotel. (Even 'though the outside could do with a lick of paint now, it did not detract from the superb design). The Morecambe sea front promenade is also very well designed and very spacious.
Very easily accessible, close to excellent amenities. Very clean and extremely well equipped. We were staying overnight for a family funeral in Morecambe with three branches of the family attending from Scotland and Leeds. It was an ideal base and Mark was extremely accommodating and very informative. Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Milk and Bottled Water was also provided.
Breakfast was exceptional - great food and good portions. We were breaking our journey from Exmoor to Skye so the location was a perfect half-way point to stop overnight. We had our dog with us as well, and the hotel was very pet-friendly, and across the street from the dog-friendly beach.
Easy check-in and well-situated hotel with a sea view from our room. I visited with a friend as away football fans; the hotel is only a short walk from Morecambe's stadium.
The walls were thin, but no issue once I put earplugs in.
Cannot fault the service for the excellent price.
The hotel is located right on the seafront and is in easy walk of a lot of the amenities in Morecambe, we went for the scooter rally and were literally 2 mins walk from all the venues, which was ideal. Ample parking was available and I couldn't fault the staff they were very helpful.
We had a lovely stay at the sanderling, The hotel was clean and modern and the owner was helpful and very pleasant, we couldn't fault the breakfast at all well cooked and plentiful, it's also in a good position for all the amenities in morecambe, Definitely recommend x
Caravan was clean and tidy with all the things you need like bedding, hand wash, washing up liquid, toilet roll etc. Nice small site, kids enjoyed it. Good communication from owner of caravan, will definitely use again if heading to Morecambe.
Great location overlooking Morecambe Bay, comfortable sea-view room. Used the hotel's car park at £10 per night. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast. The Aspect Bar external area was great in the lovely sunny weather.
the bedroom (first floor, overlooking the sea)was very spacious the bathroom had plenty of room, the decor through out the hotel/guest house was immaculate.the breakfast was perfect ,cooked fresh when ordered
Communication with the owner was excellent. Location was good and not far away from the sea front. Parking wasn’t an issue. The Morecambe Hotel is literally around the corner and is dog friendly.
Dave was fantastic the hotel room was great really enjoyed our stay the breakfast was really fab the room was nice and clean thanks Dave for our welcome to your hotel from Mon and Wilma Anglesey
Room, and location were fine. Staff were very friendly, helpful and full of smiles. The atrium was a very pleasant place to sit and look at the views over Morecambe Bay to the Lake District.
The view across the bay was fantastic, breakfast was included, serving staff friendly , convenient location near festival market, reasonably comfortable bed. Worth what I paid
