Everything was new and clean, the room had everything I needed. I loved the big corner window in the room. All sockets were located in the right places (which is surprisingly not always the case in many hotels).
The design was simple and nice. Members of staff were helpful and polite. Luggage lockers behind the reception are great. A lot of things were thought through by architects/designers.
It’s easy to walk to the hotel from the train station.

Ideal hotel stay in Aalborg. Very centrally located with easy access to shopping, dining and sightseeing. Parking access was adjacent to the hotel and very affordable. Aalborg is the ideal location from which to see all of beautiful Northern Denmark. Breakfast selection was good and nutritious. Food service in the evening was sparse but service from the staff was excellent. Access to the gym across the square was a great bonus!

This is an upmarket chain 'motel' situated just off the E45 motorway and close to a Circle K fuel station. I was not expecting too much, but I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful and the room was fine for my needs (1 or 2 nights etc). What really surprised me was the excellent and popular restaurant with a small but varied menu. The portions were huge. Note, the restaurant is not open on a Sunday, so best check other options. There was a small bar and a garden area. Breakfast was good. The local fuel station was vey handy for snacks/drinks etc.
This hotel is directly connected to Aalborg Congress Centre and 400 metres from Aalborg Station. It offers free WiFi and a popular, organic breakfast. Kunsten Art Museum is within 10 minutes’ walk.

Such a delightful Danish town that has preserved its heritage. The buildings are beautiful, and the tiny streets are lined with independent stores, cute cafes and so much more. It is a slow paced lifestyle that is focussed on quality and enjoyment. Such lovely people.

It's a small cute city. Easy to walk around and very friendly. If I had an extra day I would have ventured out to see egholm and possibly the zoo. But I was happy strolling the river in the evening and walking around the town int he time I was here. Check out the colourful houses and coffee shops

Aalborg is a very friendly city to the visitors.
Aalborg is a very friendly city to the visitors. There are many nice cafes, Penny Lane is one of them.
There are many parks and beautiful lakes.
It is cheaper than Copenhagen but still expensive for people coming form the south of Europe.
If the weather is nice is a fantastic city for those who do not like much the noise of bigger cities and there is everything one needs.

Aalborg has a nice and modern city center for shopping, eating out or a walk along the water front. Even cruise ships anchor here. There are several parks and recreational area's with a pleasant atmosphere: The zoo, harbour area, Sauna's with a view over the water and nearby island.
The city is well equiped with cycling track and you should definitly explore the town by bike. The center was not to busy , so enjoy walking around as well.

Very continental European.
Very continental European. The old part of the city has a medieval charm to it. The city was really clean. I think it is perfect for a weekend trip. (For LGBT travellers QBar is definitely the place!)

The city centre have everything you need within the pedestrian roads, so it is comfortable and enjoyable to walk there. Good ballance of «daytime» shops/stores, cafes and resturants, and nightlife places.
The hotel is located in the very centre of Aalborg and only about 10 mins on foot from the railway and bus station. The room was clean and contained everything required for a pleasant stay. Thanks to the well-insulated windows it was very quiet. The breakfast buffet had everything for a good start into the day and the staff I encountered were very nice. It is a great budget hotel in central Aalborg.
I was travelling to Skagen, so I stayed in Aalborg for 1 night. The location is great near the channel, it is nice place. The interior of the hotel was nicely designed. I was leaving at 7am the next morning, as I didn't take the breakfast in the hotel, I have asked for the coffee and pastry and the lady at the reception was kind to give me the pastry as an option. So this went well.
Clean and beautiful hotel in British and navy style
Good breakfast with more choices (even a more Italian sounding coffee machine)
Room with everything and comfortable bed, also with a lockbox)
Perfect central position!
Big room and bathroom
Possibility to park
Very good location when you should stay overnight at Airport. For us this stay was very remeberable, because we meet lady at reception who works in Denmark for several years, but originaly she was come from our hometown.
Great little hotel in Aalborg. Really good quality facilities, clean and basic. Very close to the city centre and has a lovely lobby area with coffee and snacks. The rate is very affordable too.
