Great city to visit and explore. The Danes are very friendly and the transport and facilities are great. If you are staying 2 days or more and want to see all the museums, palaces etc. then get the Copenhagen Card - it is worth it. Not very impressed with Tivoli - yes it has history and the park is pleasant. The entry price is just that, entry in. To go on the rides and fun things it is an extra £35 for an adult!
The harbour tour is a must, pick a sunny day...
Be prepared to spend, it is not a cheap place to stay. Look for the Netto supermarkets - they are great value for food and drink on the go, picking up lunch etc. This will save you some money.

Copenhagen is a lovely breath-taking city. When we visit in May it was glorious blue sky on hot weather. One thing I will say that it can be very expensive for travellers.Keep in mind to use a conversion to see how much are actually spending on meals and such like your spending funds will deplete quickly.

Our trip was great, just wish we could have stayed longer. We spent two nights there and four nights would have been better. Great restaurants and attractions. People were friendly and using the metro system was easy. Lovely city and tourist friendly. We'd love to go back someday.

My favorite things in Copenhagen was Chritiania. And George the Green Giant. We also did a day trip to visit the 6 lost giants of Copenhagen, lovely tour and fun. But to then discover the 7th giant right there in Christiania was delightful. Loved Nyhavn harbor area.

We had a blast at DR Koncerthuset (2 minute walk from Zoku Copenhagen) at night with dinner and a show.
We had beautiful and delicious cakes and coffees at Bake My Day (under 5 minute walk from Zoku Copenhagen).
Stayed 1 night at Zoku Copenhagen (Amagerfælledvej 108, 2300 København)
A taxi from the main railway/train station (Hovedbanegården) to Zoku Copenhagen is about 5 minutes and 130-150 DKK).
Breakfast was so good – we had avocado toast with poached eggs and dried mushroom, a cappuccino and some delicious pastries (wiener pecan and croissants).
We’ve visited many times before and can always recommend Tivoli gardens (especially at Halloween or Christmas).
The proximity to the central train station which is convenient... however, this is also a problem because the noise level from the busy street & train station is so loud that the hotel staff automatically provides ear plugs on the bed stands. More alarming were the several drunkards, vagrants & panhandlers wandering in & out of the hotel lobby from the adjacent train station & busy main street. The best thing about the stay was the rooms were large but I would have rather had a smaller, modern room that was better maintained.
Hotel was litterly a 2 minute walk to the nearest metro station. The metro ran every 5 minutes, it took you to the city centre where you could change lines for the airport and beyond! Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and happy to answer any questions about the city. Hotel was super modern, clean and it very great value for your money considering how expensive Copenhagen is. Proably the cheapest part of our holiday! Would recommend it to anyone looking to explore the city within a budget and I would book again.
My second stay in this hotel. The location of the hotel is simply perfect, walking distance from the Copenhagen Airport and also from Kastrup metro station (M2 takes you to the city centre) This time I was upgraded to a premium room, which was huge, with a big bathoom with a window. The room was very clean, bed comfortable. This time hotel was not very full so there were no problems with queue at front desk that I experienced the first time. Also breakfast parlour was not crowded. I will definitely return to this hotel.
The location was excellent, as we had taken the train to Central Train station (it's a 5 min or less walk away). It is also very near a Metro station and Tivoli Gardens (we could see fireworks over Tivoli from our hotel window!). The staff were very helpful when we approached them with any questions. The room (bed) is very comfortable, had the best night's sleep of our trip. Having the soft toy dog as a welcome gift for my child was a really nice touch and we appreciate that!
big towers hotel with very nice and wide rooms with big window to give you Panoramatic review of copenhagen can easily fit for families, Check Inn And out was smooth, Staff were really helpful, Breakfast was nice and testey in big Hall. We really enjoyed the time there, Near to the hotel big shopping mall "Fields" witin 10 minute walking distance.
location of the hotel between the city centre and the airport. Train can be easily accessible in 10 minute to the centre downtown.
Hotel is ok for the price. We stayed for one night layover flight and it was the best option for the pirce/location (89€ for a bunk bed double room, no breakfast). Short ride from the airport (unless you arrive late after midnight as we did and had to take 2 metro because no bus was running for another hour)
Location is ok for trains, bus and metro. Room is small but clean and has everything you need for a short stay
The staff is very responsive on email. They are very friendly with your request.
Location is ok if you like to stay close to the airport and is only 2 stops away from the city centre with a good public transport link within Copenhagen.
This hotel is about 5 mins walk from the train station. Please be mindful that the underpass has no lift so you will have to carry a heavy suitcase using a staircase.
The hotel is clean and modern, with a comfortable lobby and cocktail bar. it is perfectly located just a 5-10 minute walk from everything Copenhagen has to offer (Tivoli, the city centre and the Christmas markets). The staff go above and beyond to assist and help - nothing is too much trouble and they are friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was plentiful.
Great location, nice hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly and were present all hours. Nice coffee / croissant shops just around the corner. Love Copenhagen, lots to see and do. It's a very clean and pretty city. City centre reasonably compact very easy to get around on foot or by bike. Metro from airport very convenient too.
Perfect location, next to Tivoli and the city centre. Loved every minute I spent there. The hotel vibe, the impressive entrance, the building, the pool, the staff, breakfast, the brasserie, the bar...I loved Copenhagen a bit more certainly because every night I was looking forward to coming back to this gorgeous hotel
It was a real pleasure to stay in the WakeUp Borgergade Hotel, Copenhagen! Excellent location! In the City Centre, close to historic places, museums, beautiful park and Rosenborg Castle! Very close to Metro station and other Public transport.
Very comfortable and clean rooms. The staf is exceptional friendly!
Breakfast was very nice. Arguably the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. Rooms were nicely styled and clean and ability to connect to the TV with HDMI was appreciated. Location is great too, with a bus stop just outside, and only a few minutes walking from the city center (didn’t even use the bus in fact).
This was probably the best hotel I was in, it has everything you need (eatery, bars, football pitch, gym, different activities like quiz night, footbal match, yoga or free walking tours). The staff is very helpful and ready to answer your questions.
We loved this hotel, really lovely neighbourhood (not in city centre but 15-20 min walk) and close to Carlsberg metro station, design was stunning & staff were so friendly. Would definitely recommend & would return if visiting Copenhagen again!
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. The breakfast...... OMG, excellent! The best one!
They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Copenhagen.
The hotel is perfectly located for tourists who want to walk around Copenhagen and see the best of the city.
The room was excellent and shows you what can be done with a small space.
We had no complaints!
The hotel had a typical Danish design with plenty of light. The room had comfortable bed and a lovely view of the sea /harbour of Copenhagen. It was within easy reach of the city centre and all the suburbs.
Nice hotel in the city centre, literally a 3 minutes walk from the Copenhagen Central Station. Small-ish but comfortable rooms. Shared bathrooms, but very clean. Positive experience.
