I recently had the pleasure of staying at this amazing hotel, and let me tell you, it was an absolute 5-star experience! 🌟 The location was perfect, offering stunning views of Galway Bay and the local pier. The room itself was simply breathtaking, finished to an incredibly high standard. I loved the attention to detail, especially the beautiful Voya products in the bathroom. It even had a smart TV in the room, which was a great bonus. Shauna at the front desk was an absolute delight, making us feel incredibly welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast was a true highlight, with the most amazing pancakes you can imagine, all enjoyed with a view of the bay. The menu was well-priced and offered a great variety of options. The hotel had such a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, making it the perfect place to unwind. Plus, they had parking available, and even electric chargers, which was super convenient. The flexible check-in process was a nice touch as well. I highly recommend this place, and I can say with certainty that I will be returning in the future. It's an absolute gem! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Very little choice of places to eat or have a coffee. Tea rooms not open at 11am on Thursday as suggested. Had a fab dinner at Monks and on a return visit next morning at 1130am had great tea n scones in front of blazing stove. Superb.

The hosts were very friendly right from greeting us upon arrival and giving us tips to serving us breakfast before we left. The full Irish breakfast was very good. We had dinner before arriving in Ballyvaughan, and only stayed for one night. We had a car, so it was easy for us to drive into the town centre from there. We would stay there again. We were given tips of sites to see when we left, and one we were glad not to miss was the Poulnabrone Portal tomb.

We only were able to stay one night. It was a great launch pad for visiting the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher. The people were friendly, the food was great and the pub was fun with local, live music! We recommend it!

The Clare Way is a nice way for walkers.

The Clare Way is a nice way for walkers. There are at least two good places to eat out. Some side roads are in a poor state of repair. Clare County Council need to fill the pot holes and try and keep the roads in decent repair. This includes some access routes to this property.

A beautiful traditional Irish village with all you need for a comfortable varied stay in Ireland. Situated between the stunning Burren and the cliffs off the Atlantic Ocean, and nestled on the south side of Galway Bay, Ballyvaughan is ideally located. There are a lot of places to visit in the area. You can swim in the bay or on the nearby Bishop's Quarter beach. In Summer or Winter there are lovely places to visit and in Ballyvaughan alone, the fabulous Monk's seafood restaurant is a great spot with super friendly staff, a warm welcome and really fabulous food. I cannot wait to go back to Ballyvaughan!

This was our first visit to Ireland and we couldn’t have expected a warmer welcome or wished for a nicer place to stay than with our hosts Pauline and Gerry at the Ballyvaughan Lodge. It felt as if we were staying with friends. These are warm people (with an excellent sense of humour by the way). Other reviewers mention the excellent breakfast, the clean and nicely decorated rooms, and the nice location. It’s all true. But it’s the hosts, who really go out of their way to help and care who made this a wonderful stay.

Very friendly reception. The landlady is cordial and willing to provide information. The rooms were spacious, clean and in a quiet location on the Cliffs of Moher. The house is almost in the center of the village. Sea, restaurants and harbor are within very short walking distance. A grocery store for shopping is only 50 meters away. Breakfast was extensive and very good. We would try again to book this accommodation on a renewed trip to this place.

We loved this B&B. we felt welcomed like we were family. my kids said it felt like leaving their granny’s house as we departed. It was clean, comfy, and safe, with a lovely breakfast that was my kids’ favorite since we left the US 2 months ago to travel Europe, Africa and Asia. we felt spoiled. <3 overall a great experience. we would definitely stay here again and plan to next trip to Ireland. :)

This place is a gem. Karen was so friendly and helpful in every way. Our room was spacious, spotless, and the bed was quite comfortable. The "Irish breakfast" was the best we had throughout our visit to Ireland. Our stay at the Creggs helped make Ballyvaughan the highlight of our holiday. We recommend this place highly and hope to return.

be The price for the room was extortionate €310 and breakfast was not €12.50 per person extra . We travel to Ballyvaughan every year for the Tour de Burren. Last time we were there in 2019 the room rate was €240 in the Atlantic Lodge and breakfast was included. Definitely example of price gouging . Wont be back unless we get a better rate.

Amazing views of The Burren. Easy to and from the Cliffs of Moher. Very quiet yet close to the dining and pubs of Ballyvaughan. Feels like you are staying at a country estate with rooms full of cozy furniture and knickknacks. Generous breakfasts and spring water top it off.

The location of Ballyvaughan Lodge can't be faulted, perfectly situated to explore the area. The bedroom was spotless, cosy and comfortable but the highlight of the trip was breakfast! The stewed rhubarb and yoghurt is a must. Excellent value.
