The location was fabulous! We were right in the middle of the old town, right next to the town square. The Saturday market and restaurants were a stone's throw away.
The apartment looks newly renovated and was clean and neat. The tiny staircase leading to the 2 bedrooms and bathroom on the upper level was an interesting feature. The beds and pillow were nice and comfy.

If you want to have an authentic Dutch experience, Gouda is the town for you. Small enough to get around easily on foot or bike, it has everything you would want to see in a Dutch town; the old city hall, the longest church in the Netherlands with amazing stained glass windows, windmills, canals; it's all there. And don't forget the cheese and stroopwafels. Cheese market is every Thursday during the summer, and the regular market every Saturday. It was very nice city.
It was very nice city. We especially liked cheese museum in city centre where you can get a cheese tasting with wine. Also they sell unique gouda cheese you cannot get elsewhere. On Thursdays there are (check for timeline) cheese festivals. Otherwise it is nice and quiet city with nice city hall and churches.Mike - 10Scored 10

Very interesting place , people are friendly, should be named city of SMILE cuz everybody greet and smiles at u, Filipino like me that’s first time to visit this place is a dream come true cuz it’s once of a kind I’ve ever been before . This town has beautiful architecture, churches, street art, and historical sights. There also many unique shops and wide variety of restaurants. Try sampling the various cheeses, you will probably buy more than you can carry. We didn’t have much time to explore as we came for a friend’s birthday party but we had a couple of walks in the old town, really nice. We loved the architecture of the houses by the canals. Cheese is to die for!

The bed was very comfortable, the neighbourhood was lovely and the bathroom was massive with a view. The view from the front garden was also beautiful. There is a coffee machine available and also tea. We didn't get to meet jereon because he was away. The smart TV was a bonus. The shower was powerful and the water very hot. It's just a 10 minute bike ride from the centre of town, obviously longer when walking. I would stay here again.AnastasiaUnited Kingdom
