Clean stylish room. Decent bar and restaurant downstairs. Access code worked although you have to go around to the rear of the property to access it which was a bit confusing. Bicycle parking at rear but not that secure.

The Jewel in the crown is beautiful we all loved the decor and it felt very cosy. Perfect for a family break.
A lovely farm style kitchen, two lovely bedrooms, a beautiful cosy sitting area and a further sitting area.
Very clean stylish bathroom and property very clean throughout.
Barbara the host was very welcoming and friendly. Made to feel like nothing was too much trouble.
The kitchen was well stocked with bread, milk, cereals, jam, bacon, butter - and the best free range eggs from the chickens on the farm (they were delicious).
The cottage also had stocked bathroom, games to play, TV and WiFi (though we didn't really use WiFi as we were having a lovely time without it).
The views are beautiful surrounding the cottage. You even get your own little garden.
My children loved seeing the animals on the farm too it was a real highlight.
All in all just a wonderful place to stay, highly reccomend.
I grew up just down the road so we know the area well.
I grew up just down the road so we know the area well. Can highly recommend the Brownlow Inn for their fabulous steak, Glebe farm is fantastic for families and Astbury Mere is a great spot for a stroll. Also if you have small children, Castaway Play is an excellent place to entertain them/wear them out! Plenty to see and do in this pretty village and not far from Congleton for all of the amenities e.g. big Tesco.
