Everything in the room comfortable and clean. Car park behind hotel (£17 for 24 hours payable on an app). We didn’t stay for breakfast or use any other facilities this time so can’t comment on those but would stay at this hotel again.

The food is very good. Service was always friendly and helpful. Check in is very simple. Very convenient for Durham City. Get a bus in and a taxi out. Reasonably priced too. Bus stop directly outside.

Conveniently located for Durham and Sunderland. Room was clean, tidy and spacious. Bar and restaurant were good, the inclusion of a Thai restaurant plus traditional bar meals also being available made for a good choice of menu options. Good breakfast which was freshly cooked to order, with other cereals etc available and a buffet choice.
