I love a hot breakfast when I'm looking to stay somewhere I always check for a hot breakfast to start my day. My favorite were the waffles but the biscuits and gravy were good too. At night they had the bonfires going it was beautiful to watch with the lake view.

The room and breakfast area were super clean. There were employees wiping surfaces in the breakfast area immediately after guests went through the area. The employees were very nice.

Amazing. Love it. We’ve been before, and will return again.
Amazing. Love it. We’ve been before, and will return again. This time, we stayed at the Voyager Inn, it was okay but not great. Next time, we’ll camp at Straits State Park like we did the first time. We’ve taken Shepler’s Ferry to Mackinac Island both times, and it was great. If you’re bringing your own bikes, it’s cheaper to pay for them to ride the ferry with you than to rent bikes on the island.

Interesting city, lots of history. we find it’s a good place to stay as between the Upper peninsular & Lower Michigan thereby visiting both cities of Mackinaw City & St Ignace and their offerings. Clydes is a great old school hamburger drive in restaurant & across the street is the Truck Stop restaurant with great breakfasts.

You already should have a record all of the communication…it was considerable, with a complete lack of understanding, or sympathy, buck-passing. I admitted I somehow made the error…I started the process IMMEDIATELY….I explained, I implored them, I was willing to pay a penalty, and last, but not least, I will try not to stay at a Quality Inn again. I hope your company never makes simple mistakes…it was in USD, to boot…

We loved Joses cantina for Mexican food - it was busy on a Friday night, but the food was great and had live music. As always the shoreline drive is a sight to see, walking on the beach and exploring the Tahquamenon Falls is great for a drive.

This town used to have a lot more to offer 35 years ago.
This town used to have a lot more to offer 35 years ago. Former governor deeply hurt the state years ago and the tourism and a lot of people were forced to leave the state to look for work. The present Governor is continuing to destroy the state and the tourism industry. There's a lot of former great shops and tourists attractions in this town that have closed up over the years. St ignace has the better motels and Mackinaw city has better shops and attractions.

The prices seemed much better in St.
The prices seemed much better in St. Ignace than they were south of the bridge in Mackinaw City. Breakers was a steal for the price and the staff service was excellent. Please note that if you struggle with stairs, this resort will be challenging for you. Other than that, it's a great place to stay.
My husband and I are frequent travelers to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. We decided, last minute, to take a trip up for color tour.
#1 — we were lucky we found a room!
#2 — we were lucky we found such a nice room at a very fair price!
#3 — we were lucky to meet Armand!
I seriously can’t recommend this place enough if your looking for a nice place to stay that won’t break the bank.
We will absolutely be back next year!
It's a very convenient location, and the staff over the years has been friendly. The motel is older, but the room was comfy and clean. The AC worked well, and there was a refrigerator and microwave. It may seem a bit expensive for what it is, but lodging prices in Saint Ignace are about $30 more expensive than anywhere I recently stayed crossing the country, and it is in line with the local St Ignace lodging market.
Check in was quick and easy - staff was very friendly. Room we stayed in was huge. Room and bathroom was updated and very clean. The breakfast spread had a huge selection and was amazing! The pool and hot tub inside was also very clean. Hotel felt safe even with the doors to the rooms being outside (I am very hesitant typically to stay at places with this layout.)
We echo all the fabulous reviews. We loved our 1 night stay king room. Everything is clean! Wow. The cute decor is darling and the pics are accurate. We typically stay in large chain hotels so this was a bit different for us. We highly recommend a stay !
Great view Lake Michigan from room and restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Late night dessert in restaurant was phenomenal --all three --Chocolate Cheesecake, Apple crisp, and the Michigan donut Breakfast was good too.
This property is directly across the road from Lake Michigan and set on a small hill. The view was beautiful! The man and wife that owned the place were as nice as can be. They are very close to Sheplers Ferry!
The breakfast was nice!! We enjoyed our king suite with a jacuzzi in the room. The heat/ac worked great, as we needed both here in Michigan. I recommend staying here! Workers were super friendly and very helpful.
The room was so clean; the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in! LOVED the view of the water from our room; so peaceful and relaxing! We couldn't have asked for anything better! Thank you!
We loved the view of Lake Michigan and the Mackinaw Bridge! Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was very good.
