A small sweet stay, very clean and nice staff, as well as free parking just behind the building. In your room you will even find a binder telling you a little more about the building and gives some information about different ways to travel in town.

The location was great. easy to get downtown. The maintenance guy who helped us out was wonderful, he ended up getting a space heater for us and we had a better second night.

Brookline was so close to downtown Boston - just a short walk away. Exceptional dining places all around the area and grocery stores as well and easy access to Fenway Park to watch the baseball. Brilliant location right near the universities and a really good feel for the area. Friendly people everywhere and i felt really safe at all times. You can catch the train or the tram to Brookline or easy walking area too. Cafes and eating places galore all reasonably priced.

I came for medical treatment, and the facility was near Longwood, I could have walked to the hospital if I chose to, about .8 miles or 15 minutes. The building is older, unremodeled, but clean and charming. There are restaurants and shops nearby; eg Bar Cino is five minutes walk or less, and very good. I used uber but tram and subway stops are within about a block. I would have tried public transport but this was my first trip and I was uninitiated. This place represents a good value for basic accommodations, given the high cost and limited availability in the area, otherwise, and I understand they provide parking which would be important if I had driven as on street parking seems unavailable overnight.

If you are visiting a child at BU or visiting nearby colleges it’s perfect. Lots of places to see and things to do in a short distance. I like that the manager Ivette actively sought my feedback and asked what they could do better. Their new wing (where we stayed) has some glitches and she really wanted to know what could make our stay better for next time.

The outside and the lobby of the hotel is nice !
The outside and the lobby of the hotel is nice ! The staff was nice! I felt like my room #314 was mediocre.
Three huge stains on the carpet the moment you walked in. The bathroom was the worst part. The room was over looking the lobby with windows that didn't open at all. The shower was nice but could be fixed, toilet ran all night. Sink looked like it was going to detached if you breathed on it. Don't think the room was worth the price regardless of location.

Brookline is super cute.
Brookline is super cute. Lots of restaurants and parking are available. It's also very close to Boston, so that you can explore both areas. Brookline has a quaint, small-town feel that complements the city feel of Boston. Best of both worlds.
It was exactly what we needed for our 1 night in Boston; A bed and a bathroom. Nothing extra and nothing we didn't need. A lot of these more expensive hotels assume you're traveling for business and will give you extra amenities as if you'll be spending the majority of your time locked up in your room. This was very reasonably priced and a very cute and cozy spot as well. Would certainly recommend staying here.
The Longwood In is an old Boston 3-story house like I used to live in Cambridge MA in the '80s. It was quiet, homey, comfortable. Access to a full communal kitchen, next to the Emerald Necklace so ideal for walking. Far superior to glitzy sterile hotel chains. If you want an elevator and shiny corporate amenities, this is not your place.
Design was amazing. We hung out in the lo by for quite some time just staring at the architecture and design. Very clean and everything was new. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was spotless and shiny white. Parking on site was easy. T stop was right outside the hotel...20 minutes to Government Station and Quincy Maket area.
Breakfast was A+ and the gentleman putting it out was so friendly and hospitable!!!
Room A+ I've stayed in lots of hotels and this was the cleanest hotel and room I've ever stayed in!!!!!
Staff: All staff super friendly. A+
Location: A+ perfect for me taking a Uber to the Argganis Arena
old Building no Elevator and over price the worst night I ever spend in Hotel again that’s not hotel it’s Airbnb room but should not cost $177
didn’t even worth $40 if I could cancel I will not stay there but wenn you Bock you room the Said no cancelation I was shocked when Igor there
The Farmers Bowl for breakfast was delicious and there were other good choices; staff was friendly and courteous from the front desk all through the hotel. The location was good with public transportation that could take you anywhere in the city. Room was clean and comfortable.
Location was great - super close to the T. Right in Brookline Village, so plenty of restaurants and coffee shops. The apartment was very quiet, nicely decorated, big for its size, and indeed sunny (the view isnt great but having all those windows was really nice)!
The hotel is very close to the metro. There are a lot of markets and restaurants around. In general was very quite. The room was very clean and it seems that was renovated recently. It had also a microwave, fridge and coffee machine.
NOTHING !! It was OLD DUSTY SMELLY DANGEROUS and av HAZZARD. THE FIRE ESCAPE WAS IN MY ROOM ON THE 4TH FLOOR. PLEASE NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL IT IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE EVEN IF IT WAS FREE!!
I loved how close the hotel was to multiple public transit lines! Very convenient for getting around. The valet was also very accommodating and helpful for parking our car.
The entire building has recently been refurbished so everything is new. The room was clean and big. There was a wardrobe, kitchenette, tv, large bathroom.
