Everything.
Everything. This was the dirtiest, most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in and I've been to third world countries. How Days Inn allows this/has their name attached to this place is beyond me. We arrived 15 mins early and they wouldn't let us check in because the rooms were being "cleaned". At the room, EVEYTHING was dirty. The walls, lamp shades, floors, furniture, shower curtains, room curtains, towels were all dirty and/or stained. The bathroom floor was sticky and there were also bugs on it as well as in the main room. The carpeted floor had soaking wet spots all over it (one which I assume was spilled beer based on the smell) and the overall smell of the room itself was diapers. Literally every surface of the room was dirty (end tables, TV, remote, headboards) and there was even a clump of wet toilet paper stuck to the smoke detector. Oh and in the middle of the night, the pipes in the bathroom began screeching loudly and wouldn't stop. Worst place ever!

The only thing I liked was the location, very close to the expressway. I couldn't connect to their internet, had no water for a couple of days and the room needed repairs to the walls, shower, etc. They didn't even serve coffee in the morning, but was told to "go find a Tim Horton's" for coffee and internet. The TV programming was excellent. There were a lot of people staying in the room next to me, and I saw a very large dog there several times. I'm allergic to dogs, so that's an issue for me and I told them that before I booked and when I checked in.

It's what you'd expect for a "cheap" motel in Madison Heights. The sheets were relatively clean. The backroom was suspect, as well as the floors. I bought a pillow/blanket and cleaning supplies from near by Target. The door wasn't very secure, which doesn't lend to a restful sleep. Not a place for families or folks unfamiliar with this type of motel.

The front desk reception was friendly and efficient.
The front desk reception was friendly and efficient. The room was a big disappointment — very run down and reeked of smoke. It was clean, but the odor made it feel dirty. The bed did not seem to be a queen size. We did get a discount on our room when we spoke to the front desk about a few issues at the time of checkout (the employee was very friendly and receptive to our issues).

The room was not really clean.
The room was not really clean. The TV's were small and the remote control didn't work. The jacuzzi was small, the carpet was not clean. The couch was old with stains on it and dirty looking. Also, the sink was leaking too! 👎

Terrible experience!!! The receptionist didn't acknowledge the booking at all, we had to go to another hotel since we reached late, all the eating places were shut we had to spend 2 hours figuring out a place to stay and eat. It was a very shattering experience, I won't recommend this place to anyone. Please don't waste your time on this place, not worth your time! Also, this is a motel, not a hotel photos are misleading!!!
I did not stay there , they said they were totally booked and that my reservation was worthless because I booked thru at third party . Had her call a manager and was told that they were full and they could not accommodate me, I had my reservation slip with my information had till 10 pm to come in it was 7 pm . Very very disappointed. Had to find another hotel .
The Hotel was so clean ,the room was very roomy,in the bathroom we had extra towels,a microwave and the cooling system was perfect easy to use.Breakfast fabulous,Staff friendly and very helpful. We even could have some complimentary fruits. We definitely recommend this Hotel.
The breakfast was good quality, staff really friendly and the hotel overall looked in good shape. I was able to check in right away and didn't have to wait for a certain time. Rooms were a good size and had everything you needed.
I cannot tell you how dirty this hotel was. I didn’t like ANYTHING about this room. The walls had mildew water marks. The carpet was frayed. It looked like it hadn’t been renovated ever and was straight out of the 80s.
Location good. Just muffins in plastic for breakfast and coffee. A little disappointing in comparison with similarly priced hotels. Bed comfortable and staff at front desk efficient at check in and at checkout.
