Touring Beale Street and listening to the live music having cocktails was great. There is a lot to see on Beale Street and the surrounding area. I also enjoyed going to the pyramid and the look out restaurant they had their food was delicious as well as their cocktails. I was able to walk to most all of the attractions.

We'd heard a lot of horror stories about crime and the danger for tourists in Memphis. Never had a problem and fe!t perfectly safe walking around the area near our hotel on Union Avenue. Walked to Beale Street, went to a club and didn't leave until 1130 at night, walked back to our hotel, never felt in any danger. YMMV....

Unfortunately, we arrived late due to the Greyhound bus with three hours delay. We tried to do everything we planned to do. Would like to have spent more time at Graceland, such as visiting Elvis planes. Sun Studio tour was awesome, Beale St not too impressive. Found the music scene in Nashville better.

I was surprised at the number of medical facilities. I had heard Memphis is one of the most dangerous cities in America. So, I limited my excursions to daytime only. I passed on having to park at a parking garage and having to walk to Beale Street for an evening ghost tour.

For lovers of rock and soul music, it’s a great place to visit. Lots to see and hear. Good bars and restaurants, although food is almost exclusively fried. Peabody hotel with its duck parade is a lovely place to stay, or just visit. Graceland and Sun Studio well worth visiting.

Everyday was a new surprise - botanical gardens with tulips and dogwood at peak, art museum, Elvis' Graceland, walk across the Mississippi River on old train bridge, Lorraine Motel and National Civil Rights Museum, Sun Records Studio, big city shopping with NICE departlment store, Beale Street, South Main Street District, Chucalissa village of Mississipian culture mounds and great trails, rich neighborhoods, poor neighborhoons - and did I mention all the great food (real fried chicken, hush pupplies, fried okra, grits, bar-bq, coconut cake, pecan pie, Mississippi mud pie, and microbreweries to name a few. AND the people of Memphis are very friendly and welcoming.
The location was good, just a short walk to Beale St but far enough away to enjoy a quiet night’s sleep. The hotel parking area was secure and I felt safe going to and from my car in the evening. Breakfast was what I anticipated for the reasonable cost of a Hotel in downtown Memphis. The spacious and attractive lobby was an unexpected plus that provided multiple comfortable gathering spaces. The staff were all friendly, attentive as well as professional. it was a very pleasant stay.
There is nowhere else I would stay in Memphis. This small European-style hotel was a relief to return to after visiting the sites in downtown Memphis. The room was not large, but very clean and comfortable. Parking was easy. The neighborhood was very pretty and calm. Breakfast is included so we ate breakfast there every morning. It's not a buffet, we chose off the menu and our server was delightful. Actually, all of the staff that we encountered were friendly and professional.
I didn't eat breakfast at the hotel. But I can tell you one thing for sure. The staff at this hotel was top notch! Everyone was so helpful. We stayed for six days, and enjoyed each and every minute we were there! When we first checked in, we had an issue with our room card. But within ten minutes, it was resolved. I would recommend this hotel to anyone with no problem! This place will be my go to place when I return to Memphis! No doubt about it!
We enjoyed our stay. Our room was very clean, the bed and pillows was very comfortable. The staff was very nice and professional. It was a great location and a great price. The hotel is nonsmoking and I am a smoker and they had a covered patio with chairs for people to be able to go out to smoke under and I was thankful for that because it rained alot when we was in Memphis that night. All said and done I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
The service was beyond my expectation. Karen and Kenneth assisted my daughter and I with check in. Giving m information on near by attractions, educating me on the area, followed up with me to make sure my room was comfortable for me. We were greeted professionally and with a smile. This was my first time here in Memphis and because of their hospitality I will be coming back and staying at this hotel!! Thank your making my stay here AMAZING 🤩
This is an amazing hotel to stay in if you are going to Memphis! The inside of the pyramid is something to see, the store is awesome and the hotel rooms are very nice! The room was VERY clean and smelled nice. The balcony was awesome getting to look out over the store. The fresh cookies that were delivered to the room were amazing. We also loved the snack "gift basket" in the room. Couldn't have stayed anywhere nicer!
Spacious room with king size comfy beds. Nice big bathroom. Everything was super clean. Breakfast very good with healthy options. Safe parking in the rear of the hotel. Walking distance to Graceland. Easy to get on the Memphis highway system to go see sights like National Civil Rights Museum and Beale Street. Marlowe’s - a well known BBQ restaurant - is also close by.
Bright, spacious, modern and airy room. I wasn't expecting the standard to be so high actually so very pleasantly suprised. Offers value for money. Ammenities were excellent. Breakfast while limited was fine. Parking available. Centrally located, it's about a 10 minute walk to the Peabody Hotel, 15 mins to Beale Street.
Everything. Exterior of property is very clean and safe. From check in to check out everyone was polite and friendly. Hotel is very clean and comfortable from entrance to room. The restaurant breakfast buffet and service was good. Great location for the University of Memphis and surrounding Memphis area attractions.
The hotel was within walking distance of all the city centre attractions. The car park was directly across from the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was good value for money. The best part of the hotel is the roof top bar which has fantastic views over the Mississippi and Memphis.
Everything, the location is perfect for graceland, but also everything around Memphis is in good driving distance. Rooms are beautiful, the hotel is stunningly designed (the attention to detail is incredible). The nightly movie is fantastic. The pool and garden area are lovely.
A wonderful historic hotel in the heart of Memphis. Beautiful decor and a short walk to Beale street. Staff couldn’t do enough to help us enjoy our stay. Heated pool. Brilliant New Year’s Eve party. Really the only place to stay in Memphis even with the negatives.
The facilities, room, breakfast, grounds, etc., met all of my modest expectations for a Holiday Inn Express. I rated this hotel so high due to the staff, all of whom were extremely friendly and helpful. Great location for exploring Memphis too.
It's a beautiful hotel, quirky and modern, located in the heart of Memphis. Beale strip only a few minutes away.
The room was overlooking the main street and park and was spacious, clean and very comfortable. I really liked the design.
Had a fridge and microwave and very good A/C in the room. Bed was also very comfy and big.
Location is okay. Bus stops and some restaurants like Burger King close. You can also walk to downtown Memphis, about 2 miles (2.5 kilometres).
Staff was attentive and friendly, and represented the hospitality industry, Hilton and Memphis very well. Hotel was unique and a lot of fun due to music themes and listening room highlighting Memphis music.
This is a good hotel in a great location in Memphis. The room was good size, with a large and clean bathroom. The staff was very helpful. The location is near many eateries and the river.
