Sand Castle Motel, hotel in Daytona Beach Shores

This oceanfront motel is within 5 minutes' walk of the Sun Glow Pier. Free WiFi access is provided for added convenience.

I was real hesitant about booking and something happening not getting my $ back cause it's a done deal. But I guess that's with everything. When we walked in it was so clean. The kitchen exceptional. Not alot to cook with but I take my own pot n pan . No problem. Bed was so comfortable I'm now jealous of my expensive adjustable bed. We had down stairs where you walk out your door and can walk right out onto the beach. This place is a small mom n pop motel and those are the ones I love ! Thank you sand castle

We were there right after Hurricane Ian, (2 days after) the staff was friendly, from the time we got there which was kind off later, 10:15 p/m. for a front desk to be open and working right after a major disaster, until check out. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who is not looking for a 5-10 story hotel with all the glitzy crap ot there today, but to someone who misses the old feel of the ways the Keys used to be.....The rooms are large with a full kitchen, Large beds, cable, t's own dinning table, large bathroom and very clean, Wonder small hotel with wonderful staff.

    Beautiful.

Beautiful. Not quite as crowded as Daytona Bch up near Ocean Walk (good thing). The pool was almost empty, tons of lounge chairs available (you could never get a lounge chair at the other place). The beach was clean and gorgeous, not very crowded at all.

The dirtiest, least appealing motel I’ve ever been in.

The dirtiest, least appealing motel I’ve ever been in. Was asked by people who live there if I was looking to buy drugs…I was liking for a building employee to help me open my room. The key broke off in the lock.

We were at Daytona Beach for the Turkey Run Car Show at the Motor Speedway. We spent most of our time at the car show. We did go to several different restaurants for breakfast and dinner. There was a lot of variety and many family friendly restaurants. Good area to take children.

    Some great restaurants. Good beach.

Some great restaurants. Good beach. Beware of cops constantly patrolling Atlantic Avenue. Be sure to drive sober and to obey the 35 mph speed limit. Saw many people being pulled over. Don't drive unless absolutely necessary. Uber, Uber, UBER!
