The breakfast was good but the lunch can be improved on. Enjoyed the dinner which was included in the price and reminded me of home! The lodge is very close to the KNP gates and has enough space to take morning/evening walks.

The breakfast was good. Standard for an overnight, business stay. We had takeaways for supper and they were tasty. The staff were very accommodating and kept our leftovers in the fridge for us, overnight.

The best Lodge I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at.
The best Lodge I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms, the set-up of the shower was something that was just far beyond pleasant, and high-quality service. Also, My Gorsh the friendliness of the stuff ...I swear they treat you like you the only guest that they have ever hosted. This is the one place that I would like to visit each and every year...every month if I could...Lol If only. But seriously this is by far one of theeeeeeee best place.

The roads in the area are in the most terrible state, driving became a nightmare. Taxi drivers possed the worst threat. They ignored virtually all traffic signs.
Lastly, passing trucks were a nightmare, they totally kept me awake most nights

My problems were with the unwillingness of Tranquil Nest to provide me with my selected accomodation.
I have no feedback on Hazyview as such exept to warn visitors on the very poor road conditions. There is every chance to damage your vehicle wheels and suspension if you are not extremely vigilant. It is much worse than ever before. Potholes/crumbling tar etc etc.

A good choice of hotels at a wide range of prices.
A good choice of hotels at a wide range of prices. All pretty close to the gates to the park. We went low end of up market and could probably have had just as good an experience in some of the cheaper accommodation. Take half board because if you are out all day looking for game you will be tired. Would recommend self drive in a decent size car. Protection from the heat or the cold and no dust. Be prepared to drive for some hours. Being out longer gives you a better chance to come across the animals. Best to plan a 3 hour trip to a destination in the park then come back via another route. So a 6 hour drive. You should then manage to see a variety of the animals. We bought the expensive park guide but worth it. Gives kilometers for each section so easy to plan the days drive. Speed limit is between 40 -50 k so judge how far you can get and leave extra time to get back out of the park.

The chalet was clean with a river view,
we enjoyed seeing Hippos and elephants on the riverbank. But the free wifi didn't connect on our site. Breakfast was super but the buffet was expensive 😩 😫 I will definitely go back again the place is clean with a beautiful garden 😊 I wish we could have stayed for two more nights.

Close to Kruger Park gates, but take care on the roads as there are very many potholes and tyre replacement may happen, make sure a hire care has full sized spare, don't get a car with low profile tyres and take out tyre insurance. Because of the potholes don't travel at night especially in the rain Many tyre shops in Hazyview but closed on New Years Day. Hazyview can appear a bit crazy but the shopping centres are convenient and new - go with the African flow!
Great place to stay, a bit longer if you have time. SPACIOUS. Very clean. The road towards the property carries little relationship towards what you will find at the end of your road.
It is all reasonably well marked and google maps will help you. After dark, coming from town, the entry road may not be that visible, just remember it is right after the fuel station, on your right. Be aware that you are driving on a busy (Trucks) road, also in the evening.
We had a wonderful stay at Mdluli! The rooms were exceptional and the staff so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and beyond our expectations. This is truly a luxury tented experince. The property overlooks a watering hole and you can watch animals from the pool area or from your tent. The access into Kruger National Park is amazing. This is a treat hotel for couples or families. And the food was great!
the fact that it was a stormy weekend and the manager of the place( Mr Rian) made some means for us to be accommodated and feel comfortable after our hotel room was damaged by the storm. No one was injured and all efforts taken were of best service. Well done
EVERYTHING!
Staff, facilities, location all excellent!
The staff, Arlene, Prince, Prudence, Musa and Petunia all deserve a special mention for their exceptional work.
The hotel is centrally located.
Lovely play area for kids.
Overall good value for money.
The decor, cleanliness, friendly staff, delicious food. The ambiance of the place is amazing. It's an enjoyable place to stay. It's really a 5 star boutique hotel. It's even better in person although the pictures try to capture the beauty of the place.
Great facilities, clean and tidy, very comforting and relaxing. Hot tub was a big plus. Dinner table set on our arrival was a very nice gesture. Friendly staff. Self catering room well equipped with all relevant utensils.
My Tranquil Nest chalet was clean, quiet and very spacious. I didn't use the hot tub or the BBQ but they were there as well as an outdoor dining area. If you are looking for a spot in Hazyview it's a good place.
The house is beautiful and spacious. It’s in a great location, within about a kilometre or two from great restaurants and shopping centres - also not far from all attractions.
The views and gardens, the room was o.k. the location of the resort is exellent. The self catering chalets are exellent. But the hotel is in desperate need of management.
