I will make it short, the hotel is for those who really come to chill and have no-rushed schedule. We recently stayed at Memory Karon Resort in Phuket and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and located just a short walk from the beach and local shops. The staff were always friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. A special thanks to David at the pool bar — he truly made a difference with his amazing service, friendly attitude, and great drink recommendations. Every afternoon at the pool felt even more relaxing thanks to him. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Phuket. We’ll definitely be coming back!

    Sun (the manager) and his amazing team treat you like family instantly and you honestly feel that the hotel is your Thai home. My family and I will never forget the wonderful facilities, food and warm feeling we received from everybody at the Pacific Club. My sons wanted me to mention Ron and Joso who made their stay by always stopping for a chat. I could not recommend to a family a better hotel in Phuket. Each evening you can ask reception to organise a tuk tuk to take you to Karon main strip for a couple of pound and on a Tuesday and Friday there is a fantastic night market at the temple. Well worth checking out. The best places to eat (apart from thd lovely menu at the hotel) are the tiny restaurants down the side streets. The ones with 2 or 3 tables and plastic chairs where you can see the chef. We ate some of the best food of our lives for unbelievable prices. Leaving a tip in these places goes a long way!

    Karon is ok as it's not as busy as Patong. but at the same...

    Karon is ok as it's not as busy as Patong. but at the same time you're 30 mins away from all the action in patong. you have to take a taxi everytime you want to do anything in Patong. So factor that in your decision. I recommend it if you lean more into relaxing inside the resort. But if you're the type of person who likes to explore everyday I recommend a more central beach like Patong

    We were there several times, we stayed with a host who had accommodations right by the beach, and a little further away. So we experienced both the noise and nightlife around the beach, as well as the silence of the side streets. The accommodation by the beach was quiet enough not to disturb us at night. The beach is very nice, especially the sunsets which are gorgeous. During the rainy season, the weather is more chaotic and the waves are high, so it's important to follow the lifeguards' instructions or watch the flags. It's worth a visit and the time spent there.

    We didn’t spend so much time in Karon Beach.

    We didn’t spend so much time in Karon Beach. We hired a scooter for 300 bahts 150cc. And went to Kata beach!!! it was much better fantastic beach had a great time with waves. Karon beach is also good. It has beach wall and a lot of restaurants and bars by the beach.

    I think it was value for money.

    I think it was value for money. I can't find anything to complain about given what I paid and what I received in return. The staff were very friendly. The room was good. I think this hotel is a very good deal.

    There really is little of interest in Karon Beach .

    There really is little of interest in Karon Beach . It is full of eastern europeans and the beach is filthy. The shopping is of low quality with no real interest regarding Thai handicrafts etc. Its all massage parlours and cheap reataurants all selling the same menu items. I wont return . This is not Thailand.

    Stayed at Emerald this past 9 days with my husband and our two boys (17 and 7) and we loved the family pool access room, breakfast, the water park and the location, and just the whole hotel in general. Buffet breakfast is delicious, lots of choice, and the whole property is incredibly family friendly. Directly across the road from the beach with easy access with a crossing guard. Great location, easy tuk tuk ride to Patong and Kata. We loved our stay, many thanks to the team at Phuket Emerald!

    The owner Dave is a very nice guy. The room we stayed in was really spacious, comfortable and quiet with a nice view of the mountain. Great location close to Karon beach, banks, 7-11, bars and restaurants. Less than 10 min walk from the Smart bus stop which runs up and down the west side of the island for 100 THB. A public bus to Phuket town stops on the road where the hotel is located and only costs 40 THB.

    It's located close to the beach. The kids enjoyed the on-site pool and our family also enjoyed having their breakfast in the mornings. We also liked the tucked in lobby that made transportation pick-up feel safer for our family relative to what we observed with other hotels around Phuket.
