Boracay still ranks and stands the best in the world - the sunset (uniquely beautiful), the sand (sugar-fine), the shore (tranquil and lukewarm), the sensational scenic spirit around, and the spectacular activities this place can offer. Water sports, diving, land and river hypes, parties and the much awaited hospitality of people. Nothing can beat this place. Affordable.Guest review byRichardCanada - 10.0
I like the people of Panglao and the places.
I like the people of Panglao and the places. We feel at home away from real home.Feeling of confident walking in the roads and markets.Specially the beaches..My family love the Alona ambiance. And been to Moadto Strip which has a nice free beach. And for our transportation we always book for Romelle and Edzel recommended by Nilo the property manager.Guest review byAnonymousPhilippines - 4.0

There are so many better places in S/E Asia to go for a nice time at the beach. Mactan is not one of them. I went for the IronMan and would never go for vacation there. Very poor availability of night life, sea and beach are mediocre.Guest review byTHEODOROSChina - 8.0
Moalboal is a good and nice place to stay .
Moalboal is a good and nice place to stay . I highly recommend the place to both local and foreign tourists. But I can not recommend which resort to stay . Which resto to eat , etc since i have not been in all the restos , etc.My suggestion for the resorts owner to update their profile and pictures of their resorts to help tourist pick a place to stay.Guest review byChen Jr. - 10.0
I hope the government addresses the electricity issue.
I hope the government addresses the electricity issue. If I were not a traveler but just a local resident, I would find it very frustrating. I wouldn't recommend staying there for long, especially since brownouts can last up to 12 hours.Guest review byAlly BautistaPhilippines - 10.0

Lots of expats to talk too. Beautiful 17th century churches.
Lots of expats to talk too. Beautiful 17th century churches. Why Not is a great bar after 9pm, billiards, disco, 80's music. Boulevard is very nice to walk with live entertainment HayHay ,and chiccos were the 2 best restaurants, but plenty of other good ones. It's definitely worth staying a few days . Dauin is close by for diving and snorkeling. Valencia has very scenic waterfalls and mango ranch.Guest review byBrown - 8.0

Though a small city, with the St Agustin Church & Plaza being the main attraction, the outskirts are beautiful and offer lot of things to do like in Silay, where beautiful Ancestral Heritage homes still stand after more than a century, as well as, very good food trip like El Ideal for their divine crispy thin piayas, guapple pie, and more. Pahanocoy is another outskirt that’s just a 20-minute public bus ride from SM Mall to organic farm FreshStart Organic & Natural where I had exquisite culinary experience in their Lanai Restaurant, 1 of 4, in its organic grounds. The owners & staff even made the time to welcome and visit with me and share their passion of sustainable organic farm to table dining experiences!!!! Likewise, they are spearheading reintroducing only the elite, 400 years ago could afford & taste, the most expensive Criollo Cacao in the world and have won golds in all it’s completions, locally n abroad as far as Paris, France, today!!!Guest review byLornaUnited States - 10.0
Woaw....a very busy place. It was super nice to do this.
Woaw....a very busy place. It was super nice to do this. A new check mark on my list. Tons of people, go early, as in early. We left the hotel at 6 and arrived at around 7 already tons of people. We got boat # 189 and there are 200 boats (walk ins) and there are like 100 numbers for online booking. 10 people per boat so image approx. 3000 on that day and they told us it was not so busy. Tourists pay $20.00 and locals$10.00. We rent a GoPro and the video files were not normal MP4 file, so it was a pain to find a way to convert them. All-in-all very fun event.Guest review byTERENCEAruba
