The staff here are horrible scammers!!!! Be aware for this place and don't use Booking.com with creditcard to book your stay here. They used my credit card to make the payment (,2 nights). (13 july to 15 july) and after that they used the Tiktok scam to withdraw a total of €4000 from my account through my creditcard. Starting with small amounts and slowly increasing the amounts to up to 75 euro per day in august. They withdrew more then 400 times from my creditcard all the way till mid august. I did only find out when my brother got my statement from.august showing i spend over 2.500 on my creditcard for that month while i had NOT USED MY CREDITCARD ONCE during that period since my bank had blocked me from using it (my bank always does this when i am abroad). The last and only time i had used my card was at beach vellagio on 13th of july My july statement also.showed i spend 1.500 but i was not alarmed yet that time since i had used it before in my own country to make a payment. I.could not acces my credit card statements because my bank had also blocked me to.virw those otherwise i would have found out much sooner as i wanted to.check the july withdrawels just to be sure. The tiktok video mountainview credircard payments were all in KES so they 100% sure were from beach villagio!!! The funny thing is i don't even have a tiktok.account, never had one and never will have one!! I never ever used my creditcard in kenya apart from beach villagio.and never showed it to.anyone else it was always secure in my locked bag.

The water park was excellent for the kids, it's a pity it's open only from 3 pm. The location directly on the beach is a plus. The restaurant staff was very helpful.

    We were looking for a family holiday by the sea and can...

    We were looking for a family holiday by the sea and can thoroughly recommend Mombasa. The apartment was on Lido beach which suited us perfectly and found a local taxi driver to take us to attractions such as Haller Park and Wild Water (water slides). The city is busy and there's significant work being done to the roads. So expect the occasional jam and some very bumby roads. In July the temp was just under 30 degrees C and there was a refeshing breeze from the south to temperate this. That also seemed to keep the mosquitoes at bay. We were pleasantly surprised to find some very good restaurants (e.g. CJ's near Wild Water - good food and good service). We didn't sample the night life nor take a safari to Amboseli - something for next time!

    It's has variety of things.

    It's has variety of things. Great restaurants nearby like the Istanbul Beach Cave Restaurant. Great malls and entertainment joints. It was exciting to learn that the Old Bobs is the new 1922 club.

    It is not a place for a holiday, I was there to check on...

    It is not a place for a holiday, I was there to check on some of my Property but I was frustrated because I ended up staying for more Days than I had wanted. It is loud and congested.but if one has his own home is Ok but there are other nice places to enjoy and have fun It easy to get round Mtwapa, by Tax Tuk tuk and motor Bikes and public means of transport called Matatus.

    You have to know that Nyali is not a quiet place.

    You have to know that Nyali is not a quiet place. At night you can hear many nightclubs but at least they stopped at a certain time. The beach is also crowded but offers many different amenities. It is not an upscale destination like it used to be

    Victoria courts is one of the worst apartment.. will not recommend to any visitor because you will not like the hospitality there.. the rooms were not as per my specification and they didn’t bother to listen to me after reaching out to them severally. I had booked for 5 nights fully paid but had to spend one night and forego the 4 nights. They didn’t refund my money though and the didn’t care. Clients be warned!!!

    Interesting city.

    Interesting city. Lots of attractions for visitors - a wide range of hotels, beaches and activities for people of all ages. Traffic can get crazy during rush hours so plan your movements with this in mind.

    Its a nice town bustling with activity and its proximity to other amenities such as clubs, many nice restaurants, supermarkets, shops is very nice. Transport is easily available to other parts of the town, very friendly people, a variety of restaurants serving local dishes, barbeque chicken is a favourite and readily available every evening.

    The area is busy and has shopping centres and hotels in close proximity. People are friendly and welcoming. Nyali can be great for someone on a work trip.There's a coffee house, a shopping mall and its easy and safe to get around on foot despite the dust.
