Pretty little town on the lake, with a couple of excellent restaurants nearby serving local cuisine mostly. Lots to see, lovely walks, hikes and drives. One glaring problem they need to address ASAP. Very nice city with a breathtaking view with a castle on the lake and high hills covered in clouds. The lake is crystal clear, so perfect for swimming, or sailing. There are ferrys that can take you to other parts of the lake. Just an absolutely gorgeous and clean city with very welcoming people. Many art galleries and all sorts of exhibitions. We also reccomend Hotel Zum Goldenen Hirschen in the city centre with a luxury design and very nice staff.Guest review byLudmilaCzech Republic

Clean, spacious & quiet, had a good night sleep. Front desk Juliana was super lovely and sweet, gave us lots of information about what to see, where to eat, coffee and cakes..Really enjoyed Konditorei Grellinger cream-rolls, the best ever pastry !! Breakfast was good quality. Spar supermarket was below, I could buy some chocolate & bonbons conveniently ;-) We recommend the hotel and we too hope to be back again.
