Very charming little town on Brittany's Emerald Coast. A great place to stay for a few days, hiking the beautiful coastal trails, enjoying all the fresh oysters you can eat, or other great seafood. Easy to make quick trips to Saint-Malo (20 min), and Mont Saint-Michel (45min). Easy to spend 5-7 days, never running out of things to do and enjoy. Port Mer where we stayed is beautiful with just the right amount of amenities 2 restaurants and a bar. Amazing views and great rugged coastal walks on your doorstep. A visit to Cancale is a must to see the oyster beds and the town is pretty although a little touristy as to be expected. Beautiful, characterful town with excellent views, restaurants and shops. Also excellent as a walking and cycling centre. Easy to get to St Malo and Mont Saint Michel. The Hotel is on the front opposite the sea. The Restaurant was excellent, and so was the breakfast. The staff were very good. The rooms were a little small and the stairs narrow, but this is a period property, typically French and in a period environment, Cancale is world renown for its Oysters and tides. Everything worked so it was good. Yes we eat and drank at the Restaurant which was a very pleasant experience.Guest review byRogerGuernsey

As so frequently in France, there was no wardrobe, but instead a hanger rack. The bathroom was very good. The manageress was extremely helpful in finding additional accommodation nearby for our daughter, who joined us unexpectedly together with our large dog! The place was bigger than I expected and very cosy and charming. By usinf some paths you reach the beach very fast.
