The staff were super nice. The accommodations were clean. We got fresh towels every day. The breakfast was amazing! The location was good right next to a train station. It was not too far from everything we wanted to do including Nara, Monkey Park, and a firework festival at the ocean. there was very refreshing free water too.

I loved the interior and all the facilities. The room was spacious for a hotel room in Japan. Additionally, I liked that it was very centrally located (next to Karasuma Station), which allowed for easy access to everything, but it was not in the crowded tourist area of Shijo. Everything was so clean, and the shared bath had a great view to a garden space.

Great location, walking distance from Kyoto Station and to Kyoto Tower area. The room size was really nice. Love that the bathroom had a heating function. You could hang damp clothes in there, turn on the heating function and close the door to dry clothes. Nice feature!
