- From $851.49 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 108 reviewsThis place gives you an awesome experience, the location could not be any better, you are just next to the top attractions of el nido, but at the same time, you are on a very private place. The hotel includes complementary tours that cover most of what you would do on El Nido, and they are very easy to be arranged and mixed with the other plans you might have. The hotel is very well maintained, clean, the stuff is very friendly. The buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner is very good, you get different type of foods every day, if you like seafood there will always be a lot of it fresh seafood too. The drinks are very good, and reasonable price. The snorkeling is a great experience, the snorkel kit they provide is good and you can spend many hours swimming around the hotel and finding great and unique fishes. It was a bit hard to plan my arrival, I suggest you contact the hotel at least 2-3 days before you arrive so they can pick you up, for the check out I was allowed to stay a bit more around the hotel and have lunch before going to the airport, unfortunately we had some problems with our flight but the hotel called me to help me and they were very helpful on that. Overall, a great experience for our honeymoon.Guest review byFranciscoChile
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 25 reviewsMy friend and I spent 4 nights at Lagen. The full experience was great from airport pick up (dedicated counter at airport) to the transfer to the island. The property has a great location; the rooms are well kept, the activities, the food, drinks but most of all the staff absolutely the best. One day we went to the big lagoon, we kayaked out way back to the boat, there were a few other boats, it was windy and there was current, somehow our kayak ended up under the proa of the hotel boat and with the waves we were afraid it would hit us in the head, another boat passed by so close and made more waves which made the situation more difficult, our Lagen guide didn’t hesitate to throw himself to the water to help us! we tried to find him later but this was the day before we checked out. Will anyone in the hotel help us find him? my friend and I are avid travelers, I live in UAE where hospitality has a high standard and to me El Nido Lagen is one of the best hotel I’ve stayed in my whole life! loved everyday of my holidayGuest review byCeciliaPeru
- From $53.97 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very Good - What previous guests thought, 123 reviewsThe breakfast was really well prepared..much better than other breakfast included. The staff was awsome and in our first hour we found a tricycle driver that was more than helpful in showing us everything that Puerto Princesa had to offer. That then became our main mode of transportation,,the experience of seeing through a local was fantastic, and he also bragged about the hotel to us..Our only regret was not scheduling more time to visit the area,,,meaning we will be returning..Look for tricycle driver Ryan Rosales...highly recomended......Guest review byJohnUnited States
- From $149.83 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 868 reviewsUnforgettable experience during our stay at Nacpan Glamping. The spacious tents were conveniently located near the bathroom amenities. Our package included delicious breakfast and dinner, and the entire staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. In our opinion, the glamping tents, situated right on the beach, were a superior choice compared to the hotel rooms. The shared toilets were well-maintained and comfortable throughout the day. Truly an unforgettable experience!Guest review byLisaTaiwan

From airport pick up by Vince with cold waters and towels, to being greeted by Angel, and served by Ian in the restaurant. El Nido has so many fun things to do, and we liked that while there were a plentitude of tourist options, we were not separated from local culture and activities that sometimes happens in other places. We were only there for four days, and we could have stayed another week. The beaches are beyond stunning, both the ones you can walk to and the ones that need a boat. The snorkeling was fantastic, the food options endless, and the vibe was chill and fun.Guest review byMaryUnited States - 10.0

The calamian group of islands of which Coron is part of, is beautiful. And I hope all the measures to keep it pristine and unlittered will be successful always. There are many breathtaking sights. You would need a sizable budget though to be able to enjoy the boat tours which are wonderful. If you have the time, visit Culion. It is historical (a UNESCO site), and while the places to see could do a little tidying up, nevertheless, the history of that place invites reflection and inspires--many heroic people lived on that island. Kudos to the religious who have kept the place going since it was first established. The Culion museum should be your first stop.Guest review byGuiaPhilippines - 8.0

We didnt spend a lot of time in the Puerto itself sadly, given our resort was 90 minutes away but we made a couple of day trips and Puerto seems more relaxed & laid back than most cities in the Philippines with plenty of activities.Guest review byJulianQatar - 8.0

great area. shouldn't be overlooked/overshadowed. port barton island hopping tour is a must, and the long beach is amazing. Mango Bar has great food! Turtle Beach Resort offers a unique dining experience, and their mango shake is superb. owners are also so warm and welcoming. Lazuli Resort is one fine accommodation; so tranquil, and serene. definitely what we were looking for.Guest review bySalimbangon - 10.0

Every day I walked from the hotel to Sabang wharf on the beach and on one day had coffee, adobo and itlog in a small cafe there. Everyone was very friendly, and I bought some Pasalubong, when they did not have my tee shirt size, they went to another shop to get it for me and to get change when I gave them 1000 peso note. I asked directions to the falls, but no one was exactly sure where it was or how long it would take to get there. The place was secure (police station at the wharf and coastguard and army regularly on patrol in the area. I eventually found the park that a friend recommended (5 km from the hotel) and had an excellent buffet lunch there twice and again they made Chester very welcome, the park was free and had some interesting, recycled artworks and a tribute to the devastation in the area by Typhoon Odette- well worth a visit. Also visit Buenavista viewpoint- the local community run it and you can get Buko juice, coffee, snacks and Pasalubong plus take great photos of the bayGuest review byNeil in BahrainPhilippines - 10.0
If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit,...
If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit, put this one on your list. It's relatively uncrowded, the people are very pleasant and the vistas are jaw dropping. If you are a diver, and have an interest in WWII, you will find an incredible 11 Japanese wrecks to dive. I'd recommend Pirate Divers, they are very professional and very conservative when it comes to evaluating risks. They also know the wrecks like their second home. Coron is a bustling town with good food and pleasant people, but the beauty of the island is the back country. I liked it enough in December that I'm returning in February. To get around, I'd suggest renting a scooter. If you are new to powered two wheel vehicles stay out of Coron, and pay attention to the roads, there are some surprisingly tight turns. Otherwise, since it is relatively uncrowded you should be fine.Guest review byJimUnited States - 10.0

A delightful quiet backwater and so far less developed town. The beaches were beautiful and mostly clean. The town has plenty of activities to offer and places to eat. The whole place is walkable but you may want a Tuktuk or moped to visit further beaches.Guest review byAnnie EUnited Kingdom - 6.0

If you intend to visit Palawan you need to be more informed than I was. The Philippines are a poor country. Accommodation is cheap and as such you get what you paid for - No hot water, some cockroaches, you cannot swim in the water because of the jellyfish, plenty of sandflies and no shop to get any relief medication. There is no way to move around unless you organize transfers that cost you as much as your accommodation. A must see if you would like to see the culture. We were unable to snorkel due to weatherGuest review byKimAustralia - 10.0

The nature is incredibly beautiful, just be careful with what you eat or drink. Better to buy only mineral water. And try to avoid to eat the food which is included in the island hopping for your safety.Guest review byGirlieUnited Arab Emirates - 10.0

Rooms are spacious, big selection if breakfast, friendly hotel staff. Infinity pool is okay, could have a bit deeper though. The other pool is undergoing refurbishment. Island hoping are a must to do. We ate in the town where they served fresh sea food.I think its called Island boy Grill. Outside the hotel the tricycle ride are ideal to get round Coron town proper for merely 30 pesos.Guest review byAlma
