Breakfast was good, and the view was beautiful. It was a modern hotel room that one does not expect to have in the mountains. Really comfortable, beautiful balcony, and the view from there. Really comfortable having delicious food in the upstairs restaurant.

Amazing view of the lake and the mountain. Only 3 cabins so it’s a quiet, intimate experience. The bed is comfortable and WiFi is good. The bathroom is spacious and well designed. There are a fair amount of stairs to the cabin and inside to the loft bedroom. The staff is great. Breakfast is served in the cabin whenever you like. You are near onion fields and rooster pens but part of the secluded rural feel of the setting. The local people are kind and friendly. There are good restaurants close by. Bring warm clothes because it can get cold at night!

The place has really great and breathtaking views. Its super clean and has everything that you would need. The staff is very accommodating and laid back and the vibe of the place is super chill. There is a little bit of work to be done so I wouldn't recommend it for kids. A bit unsafe with missing railings. We had a great experience here.

The facility looks cozy from outside: The staff was very kind and nice and the pickup service from the Kintamani area down to the property was fast and efficient. Also the communication from the staff in the booking app was fast and clear.

    The facilities at Mount Batur Villa are really clean and...

    The facilities at Mount Batur Villa are really clean and well kept. The pool is excellent with picturesque views. Flies are the biggest problem for the area but there is not much can be done about that, given the vegetation in the region. The pre-dawn trip up Mount T Batur to see the sunrise is thoroughly worthwhile, as is the Jeep trip which followed to the black lava site. Had one night out in Kintamani for a meal but other than the mountain trip there is not much to do there. Couple of days there is my recommendation.

    Kintamani is a welcome breeze away from buzzing cities like Canggu and Ubud. It has beautiful nature around and is worth a visit. I would recommend to find a cool camping spot and hike up one of the volcanos.

    The time period is based on the amount of activities you plan in the area. But if you just want to do hiking up the Mount Batur or only the Jeep in the sunrise - 1 night is enough of stay. The day before and after could be used for getting the views and some restaurants.

    Kintamani is out of the way, but the drive/sites are...

    Kintamani is out of the way, but the drive/sites are incredible. We were going to hike up Mt Batur but then we would have missed other sites (due to climbing at night). However I am sure it would have been great! Most travel companies leave from Ubud not Kintamani. Recommend restful stay after the climb here. Not too many English literate people here but very kind and accommodating. Too many dogs!

    This is a stunning area of Bali with the Geopark and many attractions around. Totally different pace to Ubud and other parts of the south. Thoroughly enjoyed the change of scene and pace here, and as always the people are so nice.

    It's a small family hotel but with amenities like a big resort! There are two infinity pools facing one side of Mount Batur, for a lovely view , somewhat atypical for the idea westerners have of Bali! The cooking is homemade, still very good! So is the breakfast! And they helped us organising a trip to see the sunrise up in Mount Batur, a must see in Bali (if you can trek for 600m D+). 5 minutes walk from two competing thermal stations,worth the detour!

    Beautiful views, just like the pictures Room was very lovely, big comfortable bed Mowgli our tour guide, was absolutely fantastic! You can book him when you get there. We did a Mount Batur sunrise trek and also he drove us to our next stay in Ubud via a fantastic coffee plantation. He taught us a lot about the Balinese culture, and was just such a lovely, helpful guy! Lovely pool Very clean!

    Comfortable accommodation in a beautiful location. Highly recommend for anyone wanting an authentic Bali experience. Hosts were amazing and nothing was too much trouble.
