Bedroom had not been cleaned Filthy towels and sheets not cleaned. Furniture in the ad not in the house . No wine as promised . No welcome guide to how things worked . Weird pans with handles like pliers that you had to clip on to the pan. Owner offered me $50 as compensation as we came home the next day Rather than a nights refund. . Cleaners wanted to come late into the night no way . We should not have had to deal with this. The owner should check.Guest review byJulieAustralia - 10.0

The people in Newcastle are incredibly friendly and eager to help. As a driver navigating the city, I was pleasantly surprised by the kindness and courtesy of the local motorists. The beaches were a breathtaking sight, pristine and well-maintained. Access to the children's playgrounds was effortless, and there were ample toilet facilities conveniently located nearby. Additionally, parking was plentiful at popular tourist sites, making it easy to explore all that this charming city has to offer.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0

We arrived at night in drkness so it was difficult to get a fix on location and most things were closed as it was winter. However, it was a lovely harbour and area during the daylight to walk and grab a coffee.Guest review byFionaUnited Arab Emirates - 10.0
A beautiful bay nestled in the coast line.
A beautiful bay nestled in the coast line. Lives up to its description of being picturesque. The lighthouse was worthy of a tour and the guide very informative and interesting. Enough "up-market" but also reasonably priced eating establishments. A few towns within driving distance that were worth visiting e.g. Bangalaw.Guest review byAlisonAustralia - 10.0

Port Macquarie is a town of about 50,000 people spread over quite a wide area. In 1821, Port Macquarie was founded as a penal settlement, replacing Newcastle as the destination for convicts who had committed secondary crimes in New South Wales. For the tourist, there is a lot to see and do, with a walk along the marina, the Breakwell and the coastal path a must. Beautiful beaches such as Town Beach, Shelley Beach, Oxley Beach and Flynn Beach - all within a few kilometers. A Hastings River cruise is a must. Driving around Port Macquarie is easy.Guest review bymulga billAustralia - 10.0

We only had one day in Wagga Wagga on our way back home to Sydney. It's been a while since our last visit and we had forgotten how lovely it is. The town is relaxing with lots of shops, cafes and eateries. It is also a good spot for visiting the surrounding countryside. Definitely worth a visit.Guest review bySteve and LeonieAustralia
