Excellent holiday hotel in Porec. We were welcomed by smiling staff at the check-in counter, who were very professional, kind and helpful. The hotel is just across the sea, but they also have 2 pools (1 of those is heated, in case the weather is a bit cold). Breakfast was included in our room rate and it was a buffet, with many options, it was quite okay. They have onsite private parking which is only 1.50EUR/day. We were on an Istria road-trip, stayed 1 night everywhere and I regret to not book more nights here.

Hotel Nautica exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. The staff were incredibly polite, professional, and genuinely warm – it really made a difference. Our room was spacious, beautifully clean, and very comfortable, with lovely nautical details that gave it a unique charm. The entire property is extremely well-maintained and stylish. One of the highlights for us was how pet-friendly the hotel is – our furry companion was treated like a guest in their own right, which we deeply appreciated. If you're looking for a relaxing, high-quality stay in Novigrad with fantastic service and comfort, this is the place. Can’t wait to come back!

Everything was great. The rooms clean, comfi beds, good wifi. Restaurant with delicious food, big variety of different hot and cold food, everyone could find what they want to eat. The staff was constantly going around the tables and took away the used plates, and clean the tables. It felt better then in many 4star hotels. The beach was great, enough sunbeds for everyone, and we really liked that we could use the sport gears for free. We played minigolf, tenis, get SUPs and waterbikes. Everything was about the guests, so we had a very relaxing holiday.

history on every step.. (roman, habsburg, fascist, croatian,..) cute small city, where in center everything is a couple of hundred meters away.. good restaurants. there's also small e-scooters around the city for tourists to quickly rent through app if walking is tiresome.. nearby are the amazing brioni islands with interesting own history and sights, you can rent a small golf car for driving around the island, or go swimming, stay at hotels on site. there's also an old elephant that has very small own area, although it could easily be attached to a much larger area where donkeys are. she could walk there to have some company and back when in need of solitude. now she walks in small circles of insanity! Croatian public made a fuss about her plenty in the past, but caregivers keep saying she's fine and change isn't good for her, while every tourist wonders about that just by looking at her..

The town of Umag has a charming coastal feel particularly at the historic centre. The Kamenjak park is fantastic and although in august it was really full of people, we could find a nice place where to swim without too many people. We went around with the bike and in general we could follow paths where car were not allowed, otherwise it was a bit annoying because there were a lot of cars. We ate at the Safari bar, it was full of people but they are very well organized and the food is good and reasonable priced. Probably, the best would be to go in June or September when there are less people. It would be nice if car were not allowed or at least if there was a maximum number allowed.
