Parking right by the entrance, exceedingly helpful staff, a really beautiful room with everything you may need, a tasty breakfast with gluten free options and the hotel is in a great location.     Beautiful old-style hotel with big nicely-furnished rooms, very comfy beds, spacious bathroom. The free parking was much appreciated. We did not try the restaurant, but it looked very elegant. Breakfast was bountiful, both cold and warm choices, several types of bread and pastry. And obviously, last but not least, the fantastic thermal water pools (at the Centre Thermal) which can be accessed directly from the hotel through a corridor and are included in the room price during the whole stay. We had a great time and will definitely be back again.

    The stuff was amazing. Everybody was super helpful and kind. If you forgot something, the staff gave it to you or told you the best possible way to get what you needed.     There is a bunch to do and to see in the vicinity of Leysin. You can take the train and bus to move around. Naturally, if you drive by car you can find a gazillion views and activities within 30 to 60 minutes driving on very good roads.

    Fantastic style and spacious rooms with an extremely comfortable bed. Due to the proximity to the highway, quick and easy to find. Strongly recommended, especially for people on a longer trip seeking a great stopover. The restaurant is closed on the weekend I was told when I arrived, but there are alternatives nearby.

    A Swiss village with a real mountain feel. La Chaumiere Cafe in the main street is excellent with superb views. Easy to reach by train from Bex, or bus from Aigle, as parking in the town is difficult.

    Really nice location in this nice old town area. Simple and comfortable hotel. No AC but a portable fan was in the room that worked well. Windows opened for cooling. They did smoke in the walkway and that would enter the roof now and again. Front desk employees were very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

    Spectacular view of the Lake and local vineyards. Hotel offered free onsite parking, close to the train station and free travel pass on the trains to town. The room and bathroom are clean and welcoming. Convenient restaurant next door with a fabulous menu.

    We used Lausanne as our base to visit the Chillon Castle (highlight), Montreux and for our drive out to Gruyère and the Cailler chocolate factory. With the Lausanne tram/bus/train pass, it was easy to get around town—Lausanne has interesting architecture and we found a few good restaurants not hard to reach with the passes. Lots to do there, not an overwhelming size, real variety. Would visit again.— missed highlights but liked the feel of the city. We are 69 and 70.
