The island is privately owned and run as a resort. It’s beautiful, well kept and well run. Everything that you will need is close together around the marina - supermarket, bottle shop, restaurants, bakery, snorkel trips. Many properties offer complimentary golf buddies which are great fun to drive. It has a luxurious but laid back feel. The cafes and resturants are quite expensive and not the best considering how much your paying per meal. We visited marina tavern 8/10 lunch Pizzeria 6/10 dinner Sails 5/10 lunch Reef lounge 8/10 drinks Bakery 7/10 We used IGA alot to make meals in the apartment. Wildlife park is not worth the money Adults $35each and we were literally in their for 10mins. A great location to visit for any size group. Great restaurants and cafe options, takeaway and supermarket to spend as much or as little as you want. Love any time spent on Hamilton Island!
Love any time spent on Hamilton Island! The atmosphere, the beach, the buggies and just the general vibe! We berthed our boat for a couple of nights in the marina whilst we stayed at Whitsunday apartments and was just a quick dart across to Whitehaven Beach for the day. My only complaint would be we did stay over Easter weekend and the public holiday surcharges were steep on top of already high menu prices but guess to be expected when your in Paradise. We love Hamilton Island and stay as often as we can, this was our 8th stay. We really enjoyed the cocktails and antipasto platter at the bar on One tree hill. We also really enjoyed the pizzas at the pizza restaurant. We love that there is an IGA, so we could shop and cook some of our meals at the apartment.Guest review byRoslynAustralia

The 3 bedrooms were well presented and clean. The setting was amazing! It had a washing machine and dryer as well which were super helpful. Our favourite was the buggy that came with it. We loveeeed exploring Hamilton Island with it. Plus we could not have asked for a better location! It was less than 5 min drive to the coffee and port, we were so happily surprised with everything! We couldn’t turn on the air conditioning but we left our hosts a message and they came and fixed it within an hour which was great.
