The breakfast was more than adequate. The place was very nice, but not much interaction with the staff, which we didn't expect anyway. It was a clean hotel and fit our needs. The main drawback is that ir is on the other side of the lake and takes quite a while to drive to the opposite side for certain activities.

Warm welcome from a very friendly host. We were very glad to meet the host, its very rare to find such wholehearted and happy person. Location is on a beautiful spot. Dinner in their restaurant was amazing, dont miss it if you are staying here. One of the best meal we had in switzerland.

What an awesome hotel with fantastic views! We loved the breakfast and had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was very good. Loved the pool, hot tub, and spa area. The rooms were very nice and had USB and USB-C ports in the wall which was convenient.

An amazing find! This lovely hotel is in an incredible location. It is quiet and remote, feeling much more authentic. Yet it is also easy to get to. The Altdorf area is our favorite in Switzerland. It is a hidden gem with lots of trails and views and few tourists. The hotel has lovely views, beautiful rooms, delicious food, and thoughtful owners. We loved many of the extra touches such as a tea/coffee maker in our room, and a screen on the windows. The food was the best we have had on our trip so far. And it was so peaceful. We loved wandering around, watching the cows, and enjoying the scenery. We will be back again.

    One of the most beautiful places in Switzerland, that is not...

    One of the most beautiful places in Switzerland, that is not very much known to international travelers, which means cable car prices here are way cheaper than for example Mont Pilatus. It has everything, the lakes, majestic mountain peaks, secluded Seelisberg See, the historical background. The shape of Vierwaldstättersee makes it looking like a fjord from above. I truly adore this area and I think it's highly underrated.

    Perfect place! It´s a very calm place and you will experience the real contact with the nature. In this region, you will have a lot of places to visit, or just to take a seat and enjoy the view of the lake.

    Very clean and tidy, had all the essentials we needed and was really pleased that a Swiss plug adapter had been left for us to use as I did not realise that I would need one which was different to the other countries in Europe that I have visited. We had originally booked for the hotel next door which was much more expensive and did not have 24 hr check in and because our flight was very late and delayed, I’m really pleased we changed. Beautiful scenery.

    A wonderful hotel in a beautiful town. We stayed in a duplex room, which was nice and comfortable. There was no refrigerator or minibar in the room, but this was mentioned in the description. We arrived late, so we used the self-check-in option. There was free parking on site. Breakfast was served from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. It included everything you need for such a small and cozy hotel

    Location is absolutely amazing, the view from windows are sooo great for this price in Switzerland. Because we arrived later, it was informed that we needed to pick up the keys at the hotel Bellevue next door, it went super smooth. Equipped with a Netflix cinema, free darting and piano. However, we were greeted next day by the staff (with red hair?) very poorly. Made she had a bad day.

    Super friendly people! The lady who helped us with checkin, dinner and breakfast was the best! The rooms are very spacious, a bit old fashioned interior but all clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the hotel, all very delicious. Breakfast buffet was good too.

    Hotel is overlooking absolutely amazing lake and mountains, basically in the middle of the variety of the hiking paths. Nature is just stunning, one of the best views from the hotels I ever had.
