So beautiful in the old city but also a lot of other great areas to explore that were less touristy. I loved Kalamaja, the creative city, and the large park (kadriorg) as well as Noblessner. I enjoyed learning the history but also just enjoying it as a modern city.Guest review byJoannaUnited States - 10.0

The best place to stay in as there are many restaurants and cafes and we also caught the opera festival which was a really great added value. Sareemaa can be easily discovered from Kuressaare. The museum in the castle thoroughly describes Sareemaa’s history.Guest review byTündeHungary - 10.0

the visit is different depending on the season of the year. during the summer it is a beach vacation with a lot of people visiting the city. during the off season the place is a bit more deserted, but not completely empty very scenic views and great air, wonderful place to relax and unwind there are several Hotels and SPAs that you can stay in and enjoy even more relaxation and saunas Narva-Jõesuu is different from what it was 5-10 years ago and happy to see it actually improving. there is still plenty to be doneGuest review byStanislavEstonia - 10.0

Kärdla is a nice and well-maintained small town with several supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, and a great beach. I can recommend the Rannapaargu restaurant; it is located right on the seafront with a terrace and delicious European cuisine.Guest review byEdvinsLatvia - 8.0
The old town is just gorgeous.
The old town is just gorgeous. It’s like stepping back in time. It’s very walkable. Lots of nice restaurants and shops. There are lots of small museums and there are small sections of the city wall open to the public. Just outside the old town there are several small shopping centres too. It’s more suited to adults than children but it’s a lovely city breakGuest review byCarolIreland - 10.0

Probably the thing that stood out most for me was the medieval castle with it's impressive walls. Spent a lot of time wandering them late at night with friends. The city centre is also quite cozy.Guest review byAnnija - 10.0

A charming, historical spa resort much favoured by the late 19th/early 20th Century Russian aristocracy, Haapsalu is faded now but still has an elegant charm. The old railway station (sadly disused since 1995), now a museum, was even specially constructed with an imperial pavilion so that the Tsar and his family could arrive and depart without having to wait with the commoners. The Promenaadi on the seafront is beautiful and the ruined castle in the town centre is well worth visiting. The Wiigi and Kuursaal restaurants are particularly good.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom
