It was amazing! Beautiful place and facilities so clean
Scenic View corner Cafe was way too expensive! Only place we found for breakfast before my son's graduation and for biscuit and gravy that tasted like oil (my son said) and 2 scrambled eggs, 2 sausage patties, 2 toast and 1 can soda was $38..... This food was horrible for this price! The construction work on the highways and traffic, was the first time in 10 years since I've been up there and they were doing the same crap then, and I would not go back unless I absolutely have to!

People were so loud in the hallways and nobody did anything about it!
The food (breakfast and dinner was all cold and not much there anyway. No soap or enough towels in bathrooms and not very clean at all!! It used to be a great place to stay

Location was easy.
Location was easy. Spent 4.5 hours booking hotel and paying more than other hotel was and red roofs was extremely terrible conditions compared to cheaper hotel that was canceled prior, which was exceptionally frustrating! Also, 1 and only amenity requested, breakfast was not offered, wasn't even able to make a cup of coffee!

I wrote my review and sent you pictures of my room and the fluid on the chair. And you intentionally left that out of my review. You are deceiving your clients and basically putting them in danger. I wonder did someone report that same room to you before and you choose not to let people know how unsafe that nasty place is

For a city of this size the entertainment was very disappointing. There are one or two bars in the downtown area but overall its not a nice place to walk around after dark. Not much of interest to do and see apart from the Civil Rights route and related buildings which are by far the highlights of the city. If you are interested in sport, the wonderful Rickwood Field baseball stadium (the oldest standing ballpark in U.S.) is a real gem, just a few miles out of town.

I'm biased because I lived here for college, but there are local attractions live Vulcan the Iron Man are worth visiting over a few days. Five Points South is probably the hub of nightlife. UAB football isn't as big as Alabama or Auburn, but it's the south and well college football.
We came to Birmingham for a college tour and initially had reservations at one of the preferred hotels listed on the college's website only to find that it was not at all what was portrayed! We left there and made a last minute reservation at Drury Inn as it was one of the few that was within very close proximity to Samford and had vacancy. What a pleasant surprise to find clean and well-kept accommodations and a welcoming staff! We will definitely stay at The Drury on our next trip to Birmingham.
The condo was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The host, Charles, responded quickly to our request to stay and to any questions we had while we were there. The check in process was very smooth and there is ample parking in a lot right across the street. The location on historical Morris Avenue is great, and close to everything we needed downtown. We would definitely recommend this place to others looking to stay in downtown Birmingham!
It was a lovely entrance the beds were very comfortable and most of the furniture was beautiful. Very friendly and very helpful staff. Close to UAB which is why I booked even though higher than my usual budget for hotels when I go to Birmingham. But it was a lot better for me and my kids and best friend who has a hard time driving at night and needed to be at hospital at 5am.
Absolutely loved the facility and the room, my husband and I agreed this is the nicest hotel we’ve stayed at this year. The employee at the front desk named Marcy was super nice, helpful, and made us feel welcomed! I also liked that you had to use your key everywhere including the elevator. It made us feel safe! The facility smelled nice and looked very nice.
Didn’t eat Breakfast. Upon check out the hotel clerk stated that he had to check our room before giving us back our cash deposit. He stated that the door was broken. We never touched the door, they knew it was broken beforehand and wanted to try and keep our deposit. After he knew my husband knew what was happening, he refunded us.
staff so friendly, helpful, prompt. place is beautiful, bed was amazing, we had stopped for the storms rolling in and The Kelly was the only hotel with a room. we had our kids and they accommodated them as best possible even though all rooms only had one bed. very happy.
I have stayed in this hotel for years...the Indian family knows me...close to everything downtown..the Civil Rights Institute, have to walk a little to get to food establishments, excellent hospitality, cable, wifi, bed...everything has been updated...I will return
This space was perfect! I really enjoyed the comfort I got that a hotel just really doesn't provide. The owner has great communication and the location downtown is awesome. It was only 5 walking blocks from my office. I would definitely stay again.
The room was clean and as advertised. The beds weren’t that comfortable but for the price you pay it’s an excellent choice for a hotel. I felt like I was in a safe area and the distance from the hotel to downtown Birmingham was actually decent.
location for Mountain Brook was excellent.
staff friendly and helpfull.
price was high but Alabama were playing that weekend so prices were high.
hotel was a bit worn in places but no doubt will be sorted in due time.
Thanks Hampton MB
The host is very accommodating and pleasant. It was clean and easily accessible to downtown Birmingham. If you're looking for a safe, clean place to stay while in Birmingham, I recommend this place.
Staff is usually nice. The facility is usually clean. The rooms are pretty much cleaned other than the floors. Love the DOVE soap. The hotel itself is pretty and close to everything.
It was clean enough and the beds are comfortable and clean. Bathrooms are good. It’s not a 5 star hotel but it’s definitely a good place to relax and lay your head when traveling.
Construction was ongoing, but I knew that when I booked the room. I simply set my alarm for 8:00 each morning to avoid being awakened by the noise.
India was especially helpful.
The staff was very accommodating, making sure I had my shuttle from the airport to and from the hotel. I liked that the hotel was so close to the airport.
