Absolutely stunning standalone units. Well oriented for sun and for privacy. We could see so many stars at night. I loved the twin showers; the first I’ve seen, perfectly suited for a couples retreat. Such a beautiful place, I would definitely come again.

Flack Studio decor makes the whole place feel special. Food at Loam was great for dinner; breakfast was lovely but didn't always taste as good as it looked. The rooms were great, very liveable. Location is a very convenient walk to Surry Hills, Darlinghurst, and CBD. We liked having the choice between the cafe and Loam in the morning, especially when we were in a hurry. Rooms were extremely quiet, especially for a "trendy" hotel and the Ace brand.

Sydney is always a joy to visit.

Sydney is always a joy to visit. The Opera House is a timeless icon—I never get tired of coming back every time. Around the area, there are plenty of great food and wine options for dining. George Street, Haymarket, and Chinatown are absolute food havens—the best places to enjoy diverse and authentic flavors. On weekends, the fireworks at the harbour are spectacular and definitely a must-see. What makes Sydney even better is how many touristic spots are within walking distance, making it easy to explore and enjoy the city without much hassle.

The people in Newcastle are incredibly friendly and eager to help. As a driver navigating the city, I was pleasantly surprised by the kindness and courtesy of the local motorists. The beaches were a breathtaking sight, pristine and well-maintained. Access to the children's playgrounds was effortless, and there were ample toilet facilities conveniently located nearby. Additionally, parking was plentiful at popular tourist sites, making it easy to explore all that this charming city has to offer.

A beautiful bay nestled in the coast line. Lives up to its description of being picturesque. The lighthouse was worthy of a tour and the guide very informative and interesting. Enough "up-market" but also reasonably priced eating establishments. A few towns within driving distance that were worth visiting e.g. Bangalaw.

Port Macquarie is a town of about 50,000 people spread over quite a wide area. In 1821, Port Macquarie was founded as a penal settlement, replacing Newcastle as the destination for convicts who had committed secondary crimes in New South Wales. For the tourist, there is a lot to see and do, with a walk along the marina, the Breakwell and the coastal path a must. Beautiful beaches such as Town Beach, Shelley Beach, Oxley Beach and Flynn Beach - all within a few kilometers. A Hastings River cruise is a must. Driving around Port Macquarie is easy.

Dubbo isa good size tow, with a population of around 50,000. Taxi services excellent. I used them during my stay and they always arrived on time. The taxis were clean and drivers easy to talk to. The staff at the information centre was very helpful providing me with maps and sighting information. A town worth staying at least two nights and seeing the facilities.
