This was one the cleanest place I stayed in flores. The bathroom was very new and the place was very well taken care of. It was so nice to stay there after being in various other accommodations. The view is beautiful.

Amazing!!! Our first hot shower in a few days!!!Absolutely adorable property and there are just 2 villas so it’s very quiet and serene. Just outside of town with a beautiful drive to it (1/2 a mile or like 2min drive). The staff were incredible! They let us use their family clothes drying line for drying our clothes and breakfast is normally just bread but I have a gluten allergy so they made me rice and eggs instead. And the coffee is so good! They have great amenities like coffee and tea in the rooms, a candle, nice soap and shampoo, and a beautiful bathroom. Bug nets in the room if you like those. And the beds were very comfortable and the villas so nicely built. Really great lighting even and a beautiful garden. The street gets some traffic during the day but is so quiet at night. Loved everything about this place and would stay again!

- We actually really liked the location. Because you are further away from town, it is a lot more quiet. In the rooms in town it would not be able to go to bed early, because of the live music playing. Also the location next to the river is beautiful. - Staff is really really really nice. Had an amazing day touring with them. - Nice, hot outside shower.

We had an unfortunate event where the host charged us 100k more than what we agreed on for the drive. Did not want to fight it because (i) Indonesia is not my country and (ii) 100k IDR is not worth the discussion. But that issue to me showed poor behavior and manners from the host. Such a pity. Will never come back and do not recommend it.

The location was great, Tobias and Dendi were wonderful hosts that were very open to accommodating our needs. The room was nice, spacious, and clean. The shelves and desk to organize our things were much appreciated. The hotel is happy to help you arrange activities in the area. The lodge also has a great restaurant with homemade food and beautiful views. On the last day we had Dendi’s traditional meal which you have to order a day in advance. It is a MUST!! Food was delicious. The hotel’s driver, Daus, was very nice driving us around, always open to stopping for photos. Car was nice, with AC and spacious. Apart from visiting Kelimutu (drive up, walk back through the villages!!), we enjoyed the Murukeba waterfall that is close by (best to get a ride to the trailhead though), the coffee plantation and the traditional Wologai village (which we thought would be fake and touristy, but was surprisingly interesting and we felt we learned more about traditional Indonesian-Lio culture).

    Great place worth viewing, I would recommend taking a picnic up there so you can spend more time there and have lunch they are plenty of different spots to wonder around l. The forest is beautiful which is something you don't really see when walking through in the dark for sunrise.

    Worth the effort & time spent on travelling to get to ur destination in Flores… worth my trip here!!! So if u are considering whether to come or not, waste no time… book ur flights and jus get here, people here will assist u the travelling plans, but just need to be careful with some transportation charges! There are always cheaper way to get ard…

    Very nice sunrise if the weather permits.

    Very nice sunrise if the weather permits. Very marvelous view over the crater on the top of the hill. Walking a bit of the track is possible too if you would like to see a bit closer to the crater. The track is very easy!
