Cathy at the reception is a gem that should not be lost at all. She is welcoming, has a beautiful smile, she is conversational, a problem solver, she listens to suggestions....she is amazing. Breakfast at this place is fantastic. There is a wide variety to choose from. But most of all, I loved the decor. I love African art and Kahama got it right from the start. For those who have Africa deeply rooted in their hearts will feel the connection while at Kahama. Thank you all so much for the exceptional care you gave to me the entire week. The rooms were comfortable and came with a mini fridge. The staff was fantastic - friendly, kind, and super helpful. The food was great - different types of cuisine every evening plus a wide variety of menu items that could be ordered a la cart. The activities staff offered a variety of activities daily including evening entertainment that ranged from a trivia contest, to coconut bowling, to an acrobatic troupe performance, to a Maasai Dancer performance. Non-motorized watersports are also included with any package that includes meals. The spa services were also great and highly recommended. The apartment is very pretty and the terrace on the creek offers beautiful vieux. In the morning many monkeys come to say "hi" : it's very funny indeed. If you like to walk...it needs only 10 minutes to go in town. It is not a place for a holiday, I was there to check on some of my Property but I was frustrated because I ended up staying for more Days than I had wanted. Victoria courts is one of the worst apartment.. will not recommend to any visitor because you will not like the hospitality there.. the rooms were not as per my specification and they didn’t bother to listen to me after reaching out to them severally. Kilifi is a perfect town for me. It has a peaceful energy that makes it a preference for the more hectic atmospheres in Watamu or Malindi in the North or the Mombasa resorts to the South. You can explore the Indian Ocean from the Dhows and experience the inland waterways and the impressive mangrove forests via the Kilifi Creek.
