The property is located on the beach. Rooms are very spacious and each lot of 5 rooms shares a fantastic swimming pool, a dinning room areas and a sitting area. Its absolutely beautiful ! Personnel is very helpful and extremely nice. The food was excellent to say the least. Juices of natural fruits from the region, great coffee, cereals, eggs, etc. The restaurant is open all day which is very convenient. Room service is served in the dinning table right outside the room. The table is perfectly set and the personal is ready for whatever you need. The Spa is very nice and the person in charge gives fabulous massages. All in all this hotel is a great place to stay when in Malindi for either pleasure or business.

The place was awesome. I was working while I was there and it was very cozy, comfortable and the staff was so accommodating. Internet was very good, was working back in the states and had no issues. The shower was also the best shower I’ve had in Kenya. Water pressure was perfect. Netflix on the tv was also a huge plus. Couldn’t recommend more for anyone trying to relax and enjoy Watamu.

We liked absolutely everything about our stay at Mnarani Beach Club. The rooms were comfortable and came with a mini fridge. The staff was fantastic - friendly, kind, and super helpful. The food was great - different types of cuisine every evening plus a wide variety of menu items that could be ordered a la cart. The activities staff offered a variety of activities daily including evening entertainment that ranged from a trivia contest, to coconut bowling, to an acrobatic troupe performance, to a Maasai Dancer performance. Non-motorized watersports are also included with any package that includes meals. The spa services were also great and highly recommended. We loved our time and were sad to leave.

Scammed, displaced, and racially discriminated against

Scammed, displaced, and racially discriminated against I had a very distressing experience with Come for Life St Thomas Resort, Watamu. When I made my reservation through Booking.com, the payment terms clearly stated “pay at check-in.” However, one week before arrival, the hotel contacted me directly and demanded full payment upfront. Given the short notice and festive season, I complied and paid in full. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was shocked to be told at reception that the hotel was fully booked and that I would be moved to another hotel. The alternative accommodation provided was of much lower standard and very poor quality, nothing close to what I had booked or paid for. I requested a refund, which the hotel refused. Because it was peak festive season, I had no choice but to stay in the inferior hotel, as there were no other available options. What made this experience even more disturbing was that I arrived at the same time as other guests, some of whom were on the same flight as me. They were checked in immediately at the original hotel and treated with courtesy—while I was displaced. It was very clear that white guests were given priority, and I experienced racial discrimination by the staff. The hotel never apologized, never took responsibility, and ignored my attempts to raise my concerns afterward. This was not just poor service—it was dishonest, unethical, and discriminatory. I strongly advise travelers to be extremely cautious when booking this property.

Malindi is an interesting city for vacation.

Malindi is an interesting city for vacation. The weather is amazing, the people are friendly, the food is good and the prices are friendly. However, the transport can be quite high if you use uber or bolt to move around.

It is not a place for a holiday, I was there to check on some of my Property but I was frustrated because I ended up staying for more Days than I had wanted. It is loud and congested.but if one has his own home is Ok but there are other nice places to enjoy and have fun It easy to get round Mtwapa, by Tax Tuk tuk and motor Bikes and public means of transport called Matatus.

Everything was great! Great apartment! Great pool, also table soccer and darts. The staff were very nice. Very central, near the shops and the beaches. The food was nice. We rented a boat to go snorkelling, it was amazing, we saw so many fish! 🐟 Would highly recommend! 😊

Its a nice town bustling with activity and its proximity to other amenities such as clubs, many nice restaurants, supermarkets, shops is very nice. Transport is easily available to other parts of the town, very friendly people, a variety of restaurants serving local dishes, barbeque chicken is a favourite and readily available every evening.

The apartment is very pretty and the terrace on the creek offers beautiful vieux. In the morning many monkeys come to say "hi" : it's very funny indeed. If you like to walk...it needs only 10 minutes to go in town. Close to the apartment there are 2 very nice restaurants on the sea, where it's possible to eat very good food.

Malindi is currently regarded as the "dead town" but in my opinion, it's the perfect escape from all sorts of pollution- Instantly replaced by the facinating historical landmarks like hell's kitchen & Mambrui in totality, peace & serene, are just some of the healing that Malindi has to offer.
