Basically everything: from the attention and Kindness of Alex and his team. They made us feel like home, it was amazing to share with that amazing people The food was DELICIOUS!! And the pool area very clean, beautiful and well organized. And the rooms facilities were so clean and beautiful. I had three very pleasant nights there.

There are few properties I've considered giving such a high rating as Q boutique to be honest and they deserve it! It's a fairly new property but they've really considered so many aspects of their experience. The staff are very thoughtful and helpful and warm. The rooms/villas are quaint and cozy while still meeting professional standards of hospitality. The breakfasts had a good variety of dishes and even a few things we asked for on request like lemon tea. The dinner was a hearty serving of very fluffy mashed potatoes, steamed veggies and the tastiest fish! I really like their swimming pool, it was always clean and especially by afternoon the water's a great temperature. We ended up staying an extra night than what was planned at Q boutique because we had such a good experience. I'd definitely go back here and it would be my luxury place of choice for Malindi.

The property is located on the beach. Rooms are very spacious and each lot of 5 rooms shares a fantastic swimming pool, a dinning room areas and a sitting area. Its absolutely beautiful ! Personnel is very helpful and extremely nice. The food was excellent to say the least. Juices of natural fruits from the region, great coffee, cereals, eggs, etc. The restaurant is open all day which is very convenient. Room service is served in the dinning table right outside the room. The table is perfectly set and the personal is ready for whatever you need. The Spa is very nice and the person in charge gives fabulous massages. All in all this hotel is a great place to stay when in Malindi for either pleasure or business.

Charming is an apt name for this beautiful hidden away gem. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, really working hard to ensure our stay was a dream romantic romp. Pictures do not do this place justice. It is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and cosy, exactly what I needed. Ruth, Angie and Jaymo at the front desk and security were so welcoming and such a delight. Effie the manager was super friendly and helpful, she helped me with her power bank when the lights had gone out for a bit. Thanks Effie! The food was absolutely delicious and I looked forward to my meals - special thanks to Kash, Saumu and the chefs. Michael made me the best cocktails as well, special shout out to him. Maggie from the Spa was absolutely incredible. I had a full body massage and a full body srub and I loved it! The housekeeping staff were amazing thank you Pauline, Elvina and Emily for keeping my room fresh. The staff made this place feel like home for me and I can't wait to go back.

The place was awesome. I was working while I was there and it was very cozy, comfortable and the staff was so accommodating. Internet was very good, was working back in the states and had no issues. The shower was also the best shower I’ve had in Kenya. Water pressure was perfect. Netflix on the tv was also a huge plus. Couldn’t recommend more for anyone trying to relax and enjoy Watamu.
