The infinity pool is amazing as is the atmosphere of the resort, the beach is stunning with water activities (sailing..) amazing sands and walks on the beach. Great place to stay in Kilifi region. Rooms are not a 5* luxary hotel rooms but the facilities in the resort are legendary, it has a sense of authenticity you want, this is not Spain luxary resort this is just an amazing hotel in Kenyan coast. I appreciated the general quiteness of the hotel due to its smaller size.

The ambience was perfect. The pool was always in working condition and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and ever smiling. The rooms were spacious and the view from the balcony was very good. Security staff were doing their job, keeping all of us safe. All in all, a perfect vacation spot to relax your mind.

It felt more relaxing than a busy hotel, suitable for a couple’s getaway, beautiful and well designed resort, very clean like it was spotless and overall relaxing atmosphere probably one of the biggest positives compared with a standard city hotel.

Watamu and the charming Lonno Lodge were the perfect way to ease into Kenya after a long journey—the ideal combination of rest, beauty, and the warmest hospitality. From the moment Nelson greeted us at the airport to Sylvia’s incredible talent for connecting us with the perfect guides and experiences, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. A special thank you to the amazing chefs, the wonderful waitstaff, our favorite bartender Raymond, and Kevin, Chris, Roger, and the entire team. You made us feel like family and filled every day with kindness, smiles, and genuine care. Do yourself a favor and try everything Janet prepares—every meal is absolutely delicious! And whatever you do, don’t leave without treating yourself to the homemade gelato. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. We already can’t wait to come back! ❤️🌴

I really enjoyed staying at Baba Lao Beach Hotel. It is located directly at the beach, the food is very delicious and the staff is super welcoming and friendly. In the evening you can enjoy the bonfire at the beach. I hope to come back soon.

The location was great and perfect for relaxation. The food was great and tasty! The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I loved it!

Very beautiful house with authentic furnishings and minimal and natural design elements. Peaceful and tranquil. The staff are very kind and welcoming. It's close to the beach so we walk there everyday and have lunch on the beach. It's a place to chill and rest. Local tuk tuks are around and easy to use. We arranged a taxi through the B&B to Mombasa train station and it went smoothly. Plus the house dog is adorable and very friendly. We can't think of anything we don't like and look forward to coming back soon.

Excellent food and attentive staff. The people working at the bar are extremely talented, and the place is clean and comfortable.I would like to highlight the kitchen team who make the delicious breakfast.

Our stay at Villa Ameera was truly exceptional—the property is a peaceful, relaxing sanctuary and the staff were incredibly welcoming. If there is one thing that would make the experience perfect, it would be the addition of a breakfast service. Otherwise, it remains our top recommendation for anyone visiting Malindi.

The GM, Alex went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The staff is very well trained to keep facility up to snuff. The food was fresh, well cooked and versatile. Compliments to the chef!

Fantastic hotel/resort. Staff wonderful and pools bar and locatoin perfect for a stay in Watamu. Close to center but far enough for quiet and stress free enviroment on the water with fantastic views My second time staying at Mawe and is my go to place in Watamu. If you want a small hotel with all the services you want this is the place....

Beautiful property, the staff were so friendly professional and helpful. Two of the staff member’s even made a point to show me some of the animals on property when they saw my interest. The pools are very clean and relaxing. The food and service were excellent. I will definitely recommend to stay here.

Nice comfortable room with balcony. Balcony with 2 comfy chairs and table and clothes line, good thought! Clean bathroom. Good mattress on bed. Sizable desk, good wardrobe space, safe. Great view.

The property is located on the beach. Rooms are very spacious and each lot of 5 rooms shares a fantastic swimming pool, a dinning room areas and a sitting area. Its absolutely beautiful ! Personnel is very helpful and extremely nice. The food was excellent to say the least. Juices of natural fruits from the region, great coffee, cereals, eggs, etc. The restaurant is open all day which is very convenient. Room service is served in the dinning table right outside the room. The table is perfectly set and the personal is ready for whatever you need. The Spa is very nice and the person in charge gives fabulous massages. All in all this hotel is a great place to stay when in Malindi for either pleasure or business.

The location, ambiance, cleanliness, friendly staff. simple and amazing. quiet to work, to relax and just enjoy the vacation and peace. the wifi is great. I like that there's no food wastage and the simple meals for breakfast are great

The hotel is beautiful, the staff were great, and the beach is easily accessible.

Customer service. Breakfast was good. Easily accessible to other amenities. Good ambience and can fit people travelling in large groups.
