Olympic Hotel, is the best hotel in Turkestan . The room is very nice and has all facilities. The bathroom and toilet too is very clean and has all facilities. Every hotel soul is it’s staff, the house keeping staff is very good at their job, the staff in the kitchen at the breakfast are very cooperative and do their job with passion. The staff at the reception are very polite and helping. Aidar at the reception and as a hotel administrator was incredible. He is very enthusiastic and makes sure that you are taken care of and all your problems are solved. We requested for a early check in before we arrived as we were travelling all night and Aidar was at the hotel to welcome us and immediately and politely checked us in a bit early. Aidar thank you for your very good customer service . His English speaking skills are very good as compared to other staff. Also, we were shown the swimming pool and Gym and even the massage facilities ( Gulnar the massage therapist is a very good professional she’d taking massage from her is a must ) The reception helped us book a nice upgraded SUV taxi to go to the Uzebekistan border at reasonable prices. I totally recommend this hotel. Provided they keep the prices stable.

I am actually talking about the harbor hotel (5 star) but not the family hotel, because right before our arrival something happened to the family hotel and we got a free upgrade to the harbor hotel. The hotel is great, locate right next to the seeing sites, shops, restaurants and the flying theater. They also provide voucher for a free ticket. The room is spacious with a beautiful balcony. If you are facing the fountain, you will be able to watch the fairytale show on your balcony.

Very generous breakfast, comfortable room. Everything works perfect. A family-run hotel - very kind owners who also run the adjoining market. Bonus for the tandoor ovens / fresh samsas right across the street. Centrally located to the mausoleum, fountains, restaurants, etc. Make sure you pay attention to the breakfast time and let the owner know what you like and don't like so that they don't waste food. Ensure you have cash to pay at check-in in the event that the POS / Kaspi terminal is not functioning. Use the provided slippers to respect the cleanliness of their home.

The Spa area was great! The pool was quite big and had enough space to accommodate a lot of guests (be ready to expect a lot of kids 😄). The gym was well equipped and had enough machines and weights for most exercises. The sauna and steam rooms are great and there's even a cold bucket room to help cool down from the hot rooms. The breakfast experience was very good! There was a good selection of breakfast items to satisfy everyone. Both savoury and sweet. The staff was very kind and easy to talk to. The in-room dining menu is very extensive and affordable. Please do order the Marguerita Pizza and you'll thank me later!

    This is a holy site for Kazakhs and Muslims in the region.

    This is a holy site for Kazakhs and Muslims in the region. The Xodzha Yassawi Mosaleum was incredibly beautiful and the area around it has been nicely developed into a modern area. Beyond the Mosaleum, a new area has been built since the city became the regional capital in 2018, with many new shopping malls, hotels, and restaurants. The old town is also very charming and has many cheap, delicious restaurants. Highly recommend!

    Turkistan is a historical and spiritual, place of our country. Of course all old buildings are very interesting, but you should considered that some places are to far way between each other. For example Arystan bab mausoleum is located appx 50-60km from center of Turkistan.

    The city is very famous with Hodja Ahmed Yasevi Kesene and the new park with the mall just opened this weekend. The part is very interesting and beatiful with water lighting pools between the beautiful old and new buildings. The city must to see.
