We were so impressed by how gracious and helpful all the staff were. They treated us like family! We are American and speak very little Mandarin. But the staff responded immediately to messages in English, arranged a car from the train station, took us to and from the Great Wall, and even let us stay later in our room so we could freshen up before we left for Beijing. We will be back!

Oh boy! Everything! Way more than what i expected and they accommodated my every need. I came in late. They were waiting at the desk for me. They promptly checked me in and their daughter took me straight to my room. Absolutely beautiful updated interior. Comfortable pillows and blanket. Wonderful rooftop terrace. Breakfast in the morning and they made it when i was ready to eat. They have a little coffee shop with an espresso machine. Check out was at noon but they let me keep my bag in the room while i hiked the Great Wall. Very convenient location. 10min walk to the base of the wall. After hiking i came back and ordered lunch, lamb kebabs and rice. Then they helped me get a Didi to take me to the airport. I wish i could have stayed longer! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

It should be mentioned, this property is a ten-minute drive from our object, the Great Wall. Although there are closer hotels, friends were effusive in its praise, so we decided to stay at the Flower Yard. The inn is clean, spacious, bright and inviting. The queen bed was especially comfortable. The morning meal was delicious and huge. Most of all, we were moved by the outstanding service from Angel - and her helpers. Angel arranged transport to and from the Wall, guided us at the Wall and managed a long list of details that made this momentous adventure even more memorable. We are grateful for her attentiveness and delightful welcome throughout our stay and in communication before and after. We join our friends in their effusivenss. Property sits on top of mountain with wonderful views and good restaurant. Car ride up hill is necessary due to steepness.
