Close to so many conveniences. A couple minutes walk from train station. Convenience store at the bottom of the building. 2 mins walk to small hawker centre which included many local dishes, drinks and also western food like McDonalds and Subway. Really close walk to other popular tourist destinations such as Haji Lane, Arab Street, and Bugis Junction Shopping Centre. Hotel itself has good facilities such as pool and coin operated laundry. Would recommend.

FAQs about hotels in Singapore

Asia in a Compact Package

Clean, compact and compelling, Singapore seamlessly combines the best of Asia. Different cultures and cuisines live side by side, whilst maintaining their own identity.

Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is great value dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Wander past the pastel-painted facades of Malay-dominated Geylang Seari for a taste of days gone by, then stop off at the Colonial-style Raffles Hotel, birthplace of the Singapore Sling cocktail.

For a retreat from the hustle and bustle, take the cable car to the sandy beaches of Sentosa, an island just south of the city centre. Also here is Universal Studios Singapore, a theme park brimming with the magic of the movies.

As you’d expect from the host of the world’s only Formula 1 night race, once night falls, Singapore is still very much alive. Its Night Safari is a zoo offering the rare chance to see nocturnal animals going about their business.

Although small enough to see on foot, Singapore has an efficient public transport system which extends as far as Singapore Changi Airport. With a choice of Singapore accommodation ranging from budget hostels to luxury hotels, Booking.com is bound to have the right choice for your holiday.

For us coming from Europe, Singapore proved to be an admirable vacation choice — so unique, so special, and so deeply human at the same time. It brings together people from many different backgrounds in a way that feels both harmonious and highly functional. The city is incredibly green, exceptionally clean, and offers a wide range of nutritious food options. Beyond being just a travel destination, Singapore is also an educational experience. Through both its urban design and the behavior of its people, it subtly teaches you how to live more harmoniously and aspire to better ways of functioning as a society. Although my expectations were already high, our visit to this city exceeded them in every way.

Brilliant modern city, with a lot to see for tourists.

Brilliant modern city, with a lot to see for tourists. We enjoyed the gardens by the bay, including the cloud forest and supertree grove. We went on the Singapore Flyer, and later up Marina Bay Sands, with some brilliant views. Went to the zoo (which is really 5 different zoos), which was excellent. And to the botanical gardens, where there were a lot of roaming monitor lizards, and a family of otters. We also had a day at Universal Singapore, which was good though the park is quite small, and could do with some newer/updated attractions. There are absolutely loads of food options about, and the public transport was excellent. The whole city felt very clean and safe. It is a very expensive city though.

Singapore is a very expensive city.

Singapore is a very expensive city. Everyone we spoke to mentioned how rude people were and we experienced a lot of rudeness ourselves, mainly from locals though and not businesses. Singapore has some beautiful areas to visit but mainly it's a concrete jungle. We loved Gardens by the Bay and the Oceanarium as well as the Marina area.

I loved the friendly Singaporeans, the high level of safety everywhere, and the amazing street food (especially from, Maxwell, the hawkers market in Chinatown). I enjoyed visiting the Buddhist Tooth Relic Museum, the Hop-on-Hop-off Bus Tour, The Flyer, TWG for afternoon tea, and most of all the World Aquatics Masters Championships. The swimming facilities at OCBC are excellent!

I was a bit skeptical after reading the reviews, but honestly, I had a lovely stay here. The best part was the jet bidet, or whatever it was called! Not all hotels in Singapore have this, so if it’s something you consider important, this hotel should be on your list. The staff were friendly and helpful as well.
