We loved the vibe and the authenticity of Zadar.
We loved the vibe and the authenticity of Zadar. Our Accommodation was fantastic, being right in amongst the old Zadar village and conveniently positioned to everything. We loved the stale and cleanliness of our apartment and Nive was a fantastic host. Thanks so much Nive.Guest review byDebbieNew Zealand - 10.0

Novalja peaks during summer for the festival season, with Zrce Beach nearby. However, it's a cute small town with its own little charm, I would definitely come at a less busy time (that being said, even during festival season it didn't feel crowded at all), and do some driving to nearby spots on the island. Driving is definitely preferred in Croatia in general (just be aware of limited parking and teeny two way streets), but you can arrive by bus to Novalja too.Guest review byMayaAustralia - 10.0

Unlike many other destinations along the Croatian coast during peak season, prices here are quite reasonable – whether it’s for accommodation, dining in restaurants, or shopping in local stores. The beaches are not overly crowded, even in the busiest part of the season. There is plenty of natural shade, the water is clean, and the overall atmosphere is calm and family-friendly. Another thing that truly stands out is how kind and welcoming the local people are – from hosts to restaurant staff and shopkeepers, everyone made us feel at home.Guest review byMaticBosnia and Herzegovina - 8.0

Vir is quite tourist-centric, which has its advantages and, unfortunately, its disadvantages. The island itself is beautiful, I like the hustle and bustle (although we were in Lozice, a little further north, in a quieter part) and there are quite a few restaurants to choose from. However, the shops in the area are like the domestic (Hungarian) department stores at Christmas, no matter what time of year we went shopping: full, the lines barricaded, a minimum of 10-15 minutes waiting at the cashiers. The beaches are nice, the ones we went to were clean, although unfortunately I saw quite a few people littering... There is also the possibility of a short excursion around the red rocks on the far side of the island, the view from there is amazing. The locals were nice, but the car traffic is quite chaotic - narrow streets, everyone is in a hurry, not many people know the stop sign, etc.Guest review byPéter - 10.0

Our second Croatian island (the first was Lošinj) and another marvel! We were enthralled by the nature, we loved the diverse beaches, the restaurants and food were great, the locals extremely friendly, and for those wondering about Zrće - yes, it is just as lively and fun as everyone is saying. Pag is truly a well-rounded destination and you can be sure there is something for everyone to discover and fall in love with.Guest review byMilkaSerbia - 10.0

Small costal town for a good rest, food and just enjoying some peace and quiet. Has two amazing beaches with sandy bottoms. Galija&Olivietum are places to visit. The church is main attraction. Also Vransko lake is close by so be sure to visit and have some birdeatching.Guest review byMiroslav - 8.0

A nice town in the vicinity of Zadar, easily accessible by car AND has its own charms - so if you're only looking for a place to sleep near the bigger city, think again: Sukošan is worth checking out, especially some areas like the harbour near the town centre, and the luxurious Marina Dalmacija nearby. If you're staying for longer and had enough of Zadar, perhaps Sukošan (or maybe Nin, or both) should be on your radar :)Guest review byCelsoGermany - 10.0

Bibinje is smaller town with nice beaches and little city center. We return back several years in a row. It´s short distance to Zadar and Nin where we visit sand beach. We recommend this destination to those who prefer calmer places. We visited beach Padrele and Lipauska in Bibinje. Both are very nice. Lipauska beach has a few bars and paddleboards can be borrowed there.Guest review byNikolCzech Republic - 10.0
Great vibe in the area. Good local restaurants.
Great vibe in the area. Good local restaurants. Used Pizza Peperoni which was great, Mad Suck and Konoba Kampanel. All took card payment. Restaurant Tomislav only accepted cash - with 140€ bill I would have liked to be made aware in advance Bakery staff super welcoming. Would have been good to know in advance about a public holiday the day after arrivalGuest review byStef - 10.0
A small city with a lot to do.
A small city with a lot to do. Not too crowded, with a living night life. This is a city that is not well known yet and it is evolving tourist wise. Best thing for price/quality. Parking are cheap or free, restaurants are not too expensive...Guest review byLeonard
