It is a beautiful town, gorgeous beaches. Prices are average for the Caribbean. Public transport is not reliable, therefore, renting a car is the best option to go to the beaches and to move around. Very nice city, vibrant and beautiful. The scenery is amazing. People are nice and friendly. There are multiple restaurants and places to visit. Willemstad is a great Caribbean experience, with a lot of history. As a Dutch person I will always feel the connection, even though the colonial part is not always something to be proud of. On the paper it is perfect and with the facilities they it should be one of the hot spots in curacao. However you get a weird vibe staying there, lights in common areas are really dark and for a hostel you see no one and there is a weird vibe. How could it be with so many jakuzzis and beach areas available and even a bar? It feels like they have seen better days and management needs to redo a few minor things and they can be a having easy reviews up to 9-10 at booking.com.
