Nice location, the only point is the amount of stones in the beach. A bit annoying, but beautiful place. Harbour is a mess. The Gili Islands are truly a beautiful place, with crystal-clear waters. Especially Gili Meno, where you can escape the crowds of tourists and the noise of nightlife. But be careful — unfortunately, one of the biggest issues on the island is the litter left behind by tourists, which takes away some of the charm of these amazing islands. There are no cars here; people get around using electric scooters or small horse-drawn carriages. If you're looking for fun, head to Gili Air or Gili T. Not the location for me with my wife more for the younger backpackers type. Would not recommend. No sandy beach. Difficult to get in to the sea for swimming / snorkelling. More of a family culture, not as crowded as Gili T. Excellent value for money and the service culture of the residents is amazing. Easy to hire bicycles and scooters (electric) - essential. So many little gems to be found. A 2nd hand book shop, lovely places to eat, Gili Coffee Roasters became a favourite. It is an all natural experience! Walking around the islands, bare foot in sandy roads, eat in restaurants in the sand, swim in crystal clear waters and with the company of the turtles!
