- Amazing view both from the room/balcony and from the garden - Decently sized room and a pretty big bathroom, designed with good taste - Great breakfast and food (we ate bean soup with smoked meat, grilled pork neck, salad, tiramisu) - Great place to relax and unwind - there's a garden with nice grass, a nicely designed place for a camping fire, a pavilion to eat outside or to make a grill. - Bogdan and Anca were really friendly and helpful.

“These houses were amazing—very comfortable and fully equipped. The owner even provided bottled water, coffee for the machine, and other thoughtful touches. We had an incredible time here, surrounded by the forest and enjoying the fresh air and beautiful view from the deck. We also had a barbecue—everything was prepared for us, we only needed to bring the meat. Such a wonderful owner and an outstanding location!”

    location excellent- but be prepare for home made cooking! anyhow the location has all facilities including outside barbecue it was delightful to cook for my children's ...... as for the refrigerator, you have it naturally, the river is in the yard...it flows downhill!!!!!!!!! we cooled down beer, melons, sodas Kenzo Chalet it is wonderful choice in Porumbacu

    Beautiful, quiet area with a lovely view on the Fagaras...

    Beautiful, quiet area with a lovely view on the Fagaras mountains, lots of fortified churches within an hour drive. We drove and hiked to the Negoiu cabin and visited also a waterfall around there. We ate every evening at the place where we stayed (Pensiunea Negoiu) as the food was very good, and the atmosphere in the garden was lovely.

    Porombacu de Sus is a great village to start if you want to...

    Porombacu de Sus is a great village to start if you want to hike in the Fagars mountains. From here you can hike to the Negoiu peak on the nordic west face. Also, you can reach the Negoiu cabin but pay attention that the road to the cabin is pretty long and if you have the possibility take a car, after a drive around one hour you can park the car on marble quarry and starting from there you have around two hours hike in the summer conditions to the Negoiu cabin.
