I feel really lucky to have found this place! The room was cozy, clean, and comfortable, and even though the bathroom was shared, I was able to use it by myself during my stay, which was very convenient. The fan in the room was enough since the mornings and afternoons were cool and I was out during the day. The highlight was definitely the breakfast—they serve a traditional Salvadorian breakfast, which was absolutely delicious. The neighborhood is also very safe and quiet, so I always felt at ease. Overall, it was a lovely stay and I’d happily come back again!

I liked the areas around Santa Ana a bit more than San Salvador. Santa Ana seemed a little more homey or fun. The cathedral is nice. The place is safe. Nice views. There's a lot of souvenir shops but tons of the items are hand crafted and a bit fragile and painted. There is one area that harbours like a looot of souvenir shops all together somewhere in the north centre of the town.

I love the people always willing yo help, Salvadorians are nice, the food is amazing I highly recommend the sea food from Caliches and Ola Betos LA Libertad. If you go to El Salvador visit the beach they're nice and specially Sta Ana, the church, the teather, and the Volcan of Sta Ana is a must.

I only had a 24 hour stay and decided to arrange a history / walking tour, which I arranged through Guruwalk. My guide was Fatima. It was the best way to learn more about this really busy city, which can be a little intimidating when you first arrive. There is a big security presence (police and army), so it felt safe. It’s a good base for the Santa Ana Volcano.

Santa Ana is a good base for tours and worth spending some time in the city - good pupasas and street food in numerous markets. Pupusas at La Ceiba restaurant are good and inexpensive. Beautiful historic theatre, free open air swimming pool with river water, emerging cafes and restaurants. Charming and authentic.

You see a lot of crap online of wether or not Santa Ana is safeS we had zero problems and never felt unsafe at all. Santa Ana and El Salvador in general have made huge inprovements in safety these last years. The town is nice , you'll strugle to find a building with more than 2 stories. It has preserved it's old world charm. Not supermany things to do or see but a good base to go exploring from

A perfect place to explore Santa Ana with very welcoming hosts. Great recommendations on how to spend your time there and where to eat. Great location, only a short walk to the main square where you'll find restaurants, supermarkets and plenty of market stalls.  Clean, basic rooms and a small well equipped kitchen. Great communal space. Thank you Luis and family. It's been lovely getting to know you all. We will return!

Iris, the host is such a nice person and always there to make sure their guests have everything they need. You won´t find many other places where the host puts so much effort and work hard so that guests can stay in a nice clean place without even paying much money. So for the staff itself I would rate 10/10. But also the location is pretty convenient and you can walk easily inside downtown Santa Ana.

Awesome vibes, best place I stayed in Santa Ana! Met an awesome group of travellers there, meant to stay a day and ended up staying a week. Pupusa class was what first drew me there and that was great if a little crowded but I stayed for the excellent vibes.
